AS FAR AS POSSIBLE VESSEL TO BE PROGRAMMED TO ENTER DRY-DOCK IMMEDIATELY ON ARRIVAL
AT THE YARD.
VESSEL TO BE SAFELY BERTH AT A SUITABLE REPAIR YARD FOR THE DURATION OF REPAIR PERIOD
NOT OCCUPIED BY DRY-DOCKING. NORMAL SERVICES AS REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED DURING
REPAIR PERIOD. IN CASE VESSEL IS DOUBLE BANKED THE YARD TO ENSURE ADEQUATE CRAINAGE
FACILITIES AVAILABLE SO THAT THE WORK IS NOT HAMPERED.
YARD TO ARRANGE TUGS PILOTS RIGGERS BOATMEN FOR MOORING UNMOORING SHIFTING AND
DOCKING OF VESSEL. IF VESSEL IS SHIFTED FOR YARDS CONVENIENCE NO CHARGES TO BE LEVIED
TO THE VESSEL. YARD TO QUOTE LUMPSUM CHARGES FOR EACH SHIFTING OR MOVEMENT.
DEFICIENCIES IN FILM THICKNESS TO BE MADE GOOD BEFORE APPLYING FINAL COATS TO AVOID
PATCH APPEARANCE. DRYING/CURING TIME TO BE ALLOWED AS PER RECOMMENDATIONS OF PAINT
MAKERS TECHNICIAN AND IN CONSULTATION WITH ATTENDING SUPERINTENDENT.
QUOTATION FOR VARIOUS SERVICES BE BASED ON TIME IN DRY-DOCK OR AT REPAIR BERTH
QUOTED BY THE YARD. QUOTATIONS FOR EACH SERVICE SHALL BE ALL INCLUSIVE I.E. INCLUDING
CONNECTION/DISCONNECTION INSTALLATION/REMOVAL AND ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES CONNECTED
WITH THE SERVICES.
ON IDENTIFICATION OF REPAIR ITEMS TO YARD PERSONNEL A DETAILED BAR CHART DISPLAYING
WORK SCHEDULE AND COMPLETION OF REPAIR ITEMS TO BE ENDORSED AND SUBMITTED TO
ATTENDING SUPERINTENDENT.
IF DURING VESSEL'S STAY IN SHIPYARD ANY ITEM OF MACHINERY/ EQUIPMENT OR PIPING SYSTEM
OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS OBSERVED NOT FUNCTIONING NORMALLY OR HAS BEEN WRONGLY
ASSEMBLED AND OR FITTED IT WOULD BE THE DUTY OF SHIPYARD PERSONNEL TO BRING IT TO THE
NOTICE OF ATTENDING SUPERINTENDENT AND REMEDIAL ACTION TAKEN IN CONSULTATION WITH
CONCERNED SUPERINTENDENT.
AT THE TIME OF COMMISSIONING AND TRIALS OF EQUIPMENT IT IS NECESSARY THAT
REPRESENTATIVES OF SHIPYARD FROM VARIOUS DEPT. ARE PRESENT TO ENABLE COMMISSIONING
AND TESTING DEFECTS TO BE RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY.
ALL WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT AS PER THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS AND CONSISTENT WITH
SAFE MARINE PRACTICES.
DUE CONSIDERATION TO BE GIVEN TO INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES OF THE OWNERS AND THEIR
SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
ALL ITEMS ARE TO SUPPLIED BY THE YARD UNLESS MENTIONED FOR OWNER’S SUPPLY. YARD TO
QUOTE ACCORDINGLY.
QUOTATION FOR EACH ITEM SHOULD INCLUDE ALL REQUIRED STAGING TEMPORARY LIGHTING
VENTILATION AND FIR PRECAUTIONS (IF REQUIRED) FOR THE USE OF YARD PERSONNEL
ACCOMPLISHING EACH JOB.
ON COMPLETION OF ALL REPAIR WORK (PRIOR DEPARTURE) ENTIRE VESSEL TO FRESH WATER WASH
(200 BARS).
ALL NEW PIPES FITTED ON MAIN DECK AS PER VARIOUS SPECIFICATIONS SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH
LEAD STRIP BETWEEN PIPE AND CLAMP AND PIPE BOTTOM SUPPORT AT PLACE OF BOLTING.
ALL NEW PIPES CLAMPS FITTED NEED TO BE COATED BY YARD ALL PAINTS OWNER'S SUPPLY. ALL
PIPELINES TO BE COATED INTERNALLY PRIOR FITTMENT. YARD TO QUOTE ACCORDINGLY.
ANY JOB SCOPE NOT MENTIONED IN THE ORIGINAL JOB SCOPE TO BE ATTENDED AFTER THE
INSTRUCTION / PERMISSION FROM THE ATTENDING SUPDT
ALL DAMAGED AND BURNT PAINT AREAS TO BE MADE FAIR AND APPLY WITH ONE COAT OF PRIMER
AND FINISH PAINT AS PER THE PAINTING SPECIFICATION.
VESSEL IS ISPS COMPLIANT. YARD TO ENSURE THEIR ISPS COMPLIANCE. ONCE VESSEL ENTERS THE
YARD YARD TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILTY FOR THE SAFETY AND SECUIRTY OF THE VESSEL. HOT
WORK AND ENCLOSED SPACE ENTRY PROPER APPROVED WORK PERMITS TO BE EXECUTED WITH
THE KNOWLEDGE OF SHIP'S STAFF.
ALL LINES IN THE SPECIFICATION REPAIRED BY THE YARD SHOULD BE TESTED TO THE SATISFACTION
OF THE ATTENDING SUPDT/SHIP'S STAFF. TESTING PURGING PICKLING HOSE TESTING SHOULD BE
INCLUDED IN THE QUOTATION COST AND TIME WISE.
EVERY ENDEAVOUR SHOULD BE MADE TO REMOVE DEBRIS AND DIRT ARISING OUT OF REPAIRS AT
REGULAR INTERVALS THROUGHOUT THE REPAIR PERIOD ON YARD ACCOUNT.
WHILE CARRY OUT O'HAULING OF VALVES PRESSURE TESTING OF PIPELINES MAINTENANCE OF AIR
PIPE VENT HEADS ETC YARD TO CONSIDER ISOLATION BY BLANKING AND OTHER FIRE
HAZARD/SAFTY ISSUES AND QUOTE ACCORDINGLY.
PUMP ROOM BILGES VALVES FLOOR PLATES AND BULKHEADS SHALL BE CLEANED AFTER REPAIRS
TO BRING TO ORIGNAL CONDITION ON YARD ACCOUNT.
YARD TO PROVIDE SAFE ACCESS TO THE VESSEL AT REPAIR BERTH AND IN DOCK. ALL YARD
ARRANGEMENT.
SAFETY GUARDS PLACEMENT FOR VARIOUS OPENINGS AND CARGO TANK ENTRY TILL 1ST PLATFORM
AS PER YARD SAFETY STANDARD TO CARRY OUT. NO ADDITIONAL JOB SCOPE/COST TO BE CHARGED
SEPARATELY.
ALL NEW RENEWED STEEL VIZ PIPE PLATE CLAMP RAILING ETC AND THE DAMAGED PAINT COATING
DURING HOT WORK ARE TO BE CURED AND COATED WITH PAINTS AS PER ON BOARD PAINTING
SPECIFICATION. YARD TO QUOTE FOR SAME ACCORDINGLY. IT IS APPLICABLE FOR ALL THE
REPAIR/RENEWAL JOB ON BOARD DURING THE DRY DOCKING/REPAIR PERIOD.
EVERY ENDEAVOUR SHOULD BE MADE TO REMOVE DEBRIS AND DIRT ARISING OUT OF REPAIRS AT
REGULAR INTERVALS I.E. DAILY BASIS THROUGHOUT THE REPAIR PERIOD ON YARD ACCOUNT.
ALL PRECAUTIONS AND JOBS INVOLVED FOR HOT WORK
1. WHARFAGE:
VESSEL TO BE SAFELY BERTHED AT SUITABLE REPAIR BERTH FOR THE DURATION OF REPAIR
PERIOD.
NORMAL SERVICES AS INDICATED BELOW TO BE PROVIDED.
YARD TO QUOTE LUMPSUM COST OF WHARFAGE DUES ALL INCLUSIVE
NOTE: IN CASE THE VESSEL IS DOUBLE/TRIPPLED BANKED THE YARD TO ENSURE THAT ADEQUATE
CRANE FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE SO THAT WORK IS NOT HAMPERED.
2. MOORING/UNMOORING:
TO MOOR AND UNMOOR AND SHIFT VESSEL WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF PILOT. REQUIRED NO OF
TUGS; RIGGERS AND BOATMEN QUOTE EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: CONSIDER 4 TUGS
A. FOR BERTHING AT REPAIR BERTH ON VESSEL'S ARRIVAL
B. FOR UNBERTHING TO ENTER DRYDOCK
C. FOR BERTHING AT REPAIR BERTH AFTER UNDOCKING
D. DOCKING/UNDOCKING COST SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN DRYDOCK DUES
E. FOR UNBERTHING FROM REPAIR BERTH FOR SAILING
NOTE: IF THE VESSEL IS SHIFTED FOR YARD'S CONVENIENCE NO EXTRA CHARGES FOR SAME WOULD
BE APPLICABLE.
3. FIRE PRECAUTIONS:
A. TO SUPPLY SALT WATER FOR SHIP’S FIRE MAIN LINES AT ALL TIMES. PRESSURE IN THE FIRE MAIN
