    1. Prior to Starting
    1-1. Unpacking
    HVS-2000MV cards and their accessories are fully inspected and adjusted prior to shipment.
    Check your received items against the packing list below.

    1-2. About HVS-2000MV


    The HVS-2000MV is a Multi-viewer expansion card specifically designed for the HVS-2000.
    The expansion card allows you to add two multi-viewer channels and a total of 4 multi-viewer
    channels are available on the HVS-2000.
    In addition to this, Still memory 5 and 6 are added.

    Installing this option, which requires accessing the unit interior by opening
    the panel, should only be done by qualified technical person. Power should
    be turned OFF and all power cords disconnected from the unit before this
    installation is performed.
    CAUTION

    2. Installing the HVS-2000MV
    (1) Release the two screws at both sides securing the front panel to remove the panel.

    (2) Insert the HVS-2000MV card into the second slot from the top.

    (3) Tighten the two screws at both sides to secure the front panel to the chassis.

    3. Checking the Menu
    (1) Connect power cords and power ON the switcher system. Open the STATUS menu to verify
    that the HVS-2000MV is properly displayed in the menu.

    ① Open [STATUS > OPTION] menu.


    ② Check that "INSTALLED" is displayed for HVS-2000MV. (See the figure below.)

    (2) Verify that the HVS-2000MV card functions properly.


    Assign the MV3 or MV4 channel to an AUX bus to display Multiview images.
    Refer to the HVS-2000/OU Operation Manual for more details.
