I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
Demonstrate understanding of key concepts, uses and importance of Statistics, data
collection/gathering and the different forms of data representation, measures of
central tendency, measures of variability, and probability.
B. Performance Standards
The learner is able to collect and organize data systematically and compute
accurately measures of central tendency and variability and apply these appropriately
in data analysis and interpretation in different fields.
C. Learning Competency
Illustrates the Measure of Central Tendency (Mean, Median, Mode) of statistical
data. (M7SP-IVf-1)
D. Specific Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
1. define mean, median and mode;
2. calculate problems involving mean, median and mode;
3. applying measures of central tendency in real life situations.
