Create a weighted scoring model to determine grades for a course.

Final grades
are based on three exams worth 15 precent,15 present, and 25 present,
respectively; homework us worth 15 present, and a group project is worth 30
present. Enter scores for three students. Assume that student 1 earns 100 present
(or 100) on every item. Assume that student 2 earns 70 presents on each of the
exams, 80 present on homework, and 95 precent on the group project. Assume
that Student 3 earns 90 precent on exam1, 80 precent on exam 2, 75 precent on
exam 3, 80 precent on the homework, and 70 precent on the group project. You
can use the weighted scoring model template, create your own spreadsheet, or
make the matrix by hand.

Exam 1 Exam 2 Exam 3 Homework Group Project Final

Student
(15%) (15%) (25%) (15%) (30%) Grade
1 100 100 100 100 100
2 70 70 70 80 95
3 90 80 75 80 70

Calculate Final Grades

To calculate the final grade for each student, you need to multiply each score by its weight and
then sum up the results. Here's the formula you can use:

Final Grade = (Exam 1 * 0.15) + (Exam 2 * 0.15) + (Exam 3 * 0.25) + (Homework

* 0.15) + (Group Project * 0.30)

Applying this formula to each student, we get:

Exam 1 Exam 2 Exam 3 Homework Group Project Final

Student
(15%) (15%) (25%) (15%) (30%) Grade
1 100 100 100 100 100 100
2 70 70 70 80 95 79.5
3 90 80 75 80 70 78.5

This table now represents the final grades for each student based on the weighted scoring model.

the introduction or overview section. Assume that this website would include a home page
with links to a syllabus for the class, lecture notes or other instructional information, links to
the website for this textbook, links to other websites with project management information,
and links to personal pages for each member of your class and future classes. Also, include a
bulletin board and chat room feature where students and the instructor can exchange information.
Assume that your instructor is the project sponsor, you are the project manager, your classmates
are your project team, and you have three months to complete the project.
