Using a rubber band and geoboard try to create the following closed
plane figure:

B. Developmental Activity
1. Presentation of the topic
Numerical prefixes are to describe things based on their numerical
characteristics. Examples are bicycle-bi means two, bicycle has to
wheel; triangle-tri means three, triangles has three angles; and
Octopus-octo means eight, octopus is a living things with eight
arms: and Polygons-poly means many, gon means angle, polygon
is a closed plane figure with many angles. So our topic for today is
about Polygons.
2. Discussion
We classify polygons according to the number of its sides. This
table shows the names of some common polygons.
