Lab Report No.02
Introduction To Proteus & AC

Objectives

1. To become familiar with software.

2. Introduction to the AC in proteus.

Introduction:
First of very all the rules and regulations of the lab. We should be concerned to the things or
equipment given to us and not to touch or use any circuit unnecessarily making sure not to create any
disturbance during the lab.

Proteus is the name of a software used for electronic circuit design and simulation. Engineers use it to
design, test, and debug electronic circuits on a computer before building them in real life. which can
save time and resources in the development process. It's a valuable tool for designing and optimizing
electronic projects.
This is the main body of the proteus software when we open it. It consists of Working place (where we
make our desired circuit), Object selector (from we select different items like resistor, potentiometer
etc.) and also some other necessary options are also available to use.

Lab work:

In our lab we made a very basic and our first circuit which consists of Alternating source and Resistors.
We used voltmeter and ammeter to measure current and voltage across the 200 ohms resistor.
Conclusion

In our lab we learned about the professional software to build circuits to test and debug them
named “Proteus”. We also made our first circuit using this software and lastly, we also did a lab task.
This whole lab collectively made a great exposure and made us learn to use a new and interesting
software. we will be using this software to make projects in our future.
