Program delivery
Learning Facilitators/Technical The Coordinator of the Reading Program was requested by the Barangay
Working Group Councilor who is in the committee of education in charge to handle the reading
program of the Barangay. She was notified through special order from her direct
Supervisor Ma. Yvonne C. Salas to take charge of the request from the
Barangay. It was started in the month of August 2020.
Participants There were minor problems addressed including the participants who had
emergency calls. During sessions, their attendance and participation were
regularly checked ensuring active participation and engagement. A total of 41
participants.
Program Content Printed reading materials were readily available from the DepEd and necessary
details on how it was conducted were laid out effectively on the program matrix.
Program Management
Prior to Program There was an Orientation On September 18, 2020; the Day 0 of the activity
During the Proper Training Technical issues on the materials and the venue were noted and were attended

Highlights of the Activity:

Well-planned activity was visible in the organization and participation of participants. Volunteerism as a manifestation
of active participation was observed . Participants also asked questions which clearly illustrated they are on track with
the session. This activity is evaluative of how literacy was achieved and be better achieved in Mahaplag NHS-Upper.

Ways Forward/agreements and Timeliness:

Monitoring on the integration of learnings from this training is seen relevant so that further concerns are addressed
especially that is new in the context of our schools.
Resource Material Used:

The resource materials were already propagated through electronic copies. It is expected that improvement and
enhancement considering localization and contextualization for reproduction in the school settings become the end-goal
of the participants.
