ABSTRACT

Throughout the whole internship, I have learned many things by completing SAP
Analytics Cloud training. It was about a new tool in the SAP portfolio to meet the needs
of data visualization in the cloud. It is delivered as an all-in-one, SaaS-based product. It
covers the needs of data visualization, budget planning, and predictive analytics. Its main
function is the creation of data reports. Analytics Cloud is made specifically with the
intent of providing all analytics capabilities to all users in one product. SAC has two
major components: Stories: catering to self-service reporting needs Analytics Designer:
for more complex scenarios and used by developers. SAC supports both import and live
data connection for On-premises data sources requires a cloud agent and connector. It
supports data ingestion and exploration, dashboard and report creation, predictive
analytics, and planning functionalities. Apart from this, I learned about how to manage
things professionally, how to align in corporate culture and how to complete assigned
task within time limit.

2.2 Scope of Training / Project

Scope for data analytics is very good especially SAP Analytics Cloud, there are very close
competitors but still SAC is the market leader for fortune five hundred companies.

SAP Analytics Cloud is an all-in-one cloud product offered as software as a service

(SaaS) for business intelligence (BI), planning, and predictive analytics. Built natively on
SAP Cloud Platform, it provides a unified and secure public cloud experience to
maximize data-driven decision making.

Cloud Analytics is going to boom in next couple of years, the pace of changing business
is tremendous, and the way the data/information is being collected everywhere with
digital devices, it will be important for the IT companies to build powerful analytics
applications or visualization which can give instant results, and then business can take
the decision.

I think the Cloud Analytics should be in combination with Machine Learning, which will
help quickly deliver powerful results.

I think SAP has come up with SAP Analytics Cloud tool which is very powerful tool, and
it also makes use of Machine Learning for Data Discovery, R for Data Science so this is
going to be very crucial for business.

CONCLUDING REMARKS

4.1 Learning Outcomes

 Technology Perspective:

 Data Analytics helps to tell stories by curating data into a form easier to
understand, highlighting the trends and outliers. A good visualization tells a
story, removing the noise from data and highlighting the useful information.
 Conduct exploratory data analysis using visualization.
 Craft visual presentations of data for effective communication.
 Use knowledge of perception and cognition to evaluate visualization design
alternatives.

 Tool Perspective:

 Data Discovery
 Machine Leaning capabilities.
 Integrated Financial and Business Planning.
 Predictive Analysis.
 Automated data cleansing.
 Data exploration and visualization.
 Role-Based customization for different users.
 Use of custom widgets.
 Applications Integration with on-premises sources.

30
4.2 Experience Sharing

 Believe it or not, internships aren’t only about learning how to make coffee and
photocopying documents. Internships are incredibly valuable for networking,
gaining experience, and ultimately helping me to land that dream job in my
chosen sector.
 Having to experience the dynamics of work in a startup company really
appealed to me. The challenge would be greater, and I was very excited to have
this opportunity.
 Personally, I can say that I developed myself more confidence during my
internship.
 In last I am happy that I got the opportunity to learn the SAP Analytics Cloud in
very short time and learn more with real time project.
 Thanks a ton, to university mentor and Organization mentor for made myself
better via evaluating and appreciating me and my efforts.
