We need to forget the fact that some institutes offer the best education and some don’t and take it in our belief system that every institute offers the same education as books are the same. So, in order to create that very psychology, your system 1st needs to make sure they not only recruit teachers of fundamental subjects but also train them about child psychology. You can take the initiative by not addressing them as teachers but as change makers and pillars of our society. They should be addressed as educators though it’s the same word but it builds more empowerment. In my life, I have seen teachers praise their brilliant students and try to make them understand a particular topic according to their inquiry. However, one teacher should take all necessary steps to make the weakest of all the students to understand a topic as there is a high chance every student will get the grasp of that subject not quickly but thoroughly. The students should be encouraged to use their knowledge in practical life and read newspapers to find societal problems to solve on their own. At first they will find it difficult to grasp all of it but in time and maturity they can be formed as a valuable member of the community. Also, the book of constitution needs to be included in the curriculum as it will enable the students to know their rights in the society. Applied subjects or Vocational subjects could be introduced earlier in their lives from 6 th standard. It can be made compulsory to complete their 10th grade education. If someone performs remarkably well, then he can proceed for higher education through that line to reach graduation, masters, PHD in Core, Research oriented subjects and others with less achievements if willing can proceed for vocational degree (Applied engineering subjects, Agricultural subjects, Veterinary subjects) for direct involvement in the workforce. Also, it can be informed to the students that if a vocational degree holder wishes to proceed for further education, then he can proceed with that vocational degree to graduation, masters and PHD, but on his specialized subject. As we all know, English is not a language, but a technology for survival. So, from my belief, re-changing your education system to English Version will be very beneficial leaving Bangla of course. This simple change will enable the students to be skilled-manpower for our nation and for the international community. The entire structure built on superior marking policy should be reconsidered. Students need to be properly analyzed in their exams and confirm if they have proper grip on the subject. Preferably if they have thoroughly analyzed the learnings of his text book and collected data from all sources. Specialty subjects could be introduced earlier in their lives from 6th standard or so. It can be made compulsory to complete their 10th grade education. If someone performs remarkably well, then he can proceed for higher education through that line to reach graduation, masters, PHD in Core, Research oriented subjects. If the education system is mostly focused on the English medium and we want to export manpower, then a brief language training of the desired country with etiquette could be the 1st priority of their learning. Next the regular knowledge of the working procedure of the country’s support system they wish to be a part of and which also goes in line with their qualification can be taught. This, from my point of view, should be a new approach to training manpower. For sending workers abroad, if someone can truly afford it they should go abroad with their own money and it should be checked thoroughly. However, if there is a requirement of more people than those who can afford to go abroad, then Government, Private Organizations, NGOs can support them with minimal interest rates and a set period of return can be estimated, enforced from their earnings considering their living cost, earning while abroad. My philosophy is as per our current scenario the workers have a hard time surviving or even saving in our country. If they can be trained and sent abroad then they can earn more (even if they find it difficult to save any during the time of loan/instalment payment).
