Client: Army & Airforce exchange services (AAFES) Jun 2016 – Present
Dallas, TX
Business System Analyst
This project is a retail sector. This federal government project is especially meant for the Army and Air force Employees
where they can do shopping by logging into the online exchange site or in stores. This project talks about shopping,
inventory, transaction logs, integration and configuration of different products/items in RMS to different streams like
QSR, SOP, Retail, Payments, Fuel and PIM. Also worked on upgradation of Warehouse Management Systems –
Manhattan Associates WMOS.

Responsibilities:

 Gathering the requirements from the business and preparing BRDs, Test Scripts for Payment streams (card
transactions – Military Star cards, Gift cards, Credit Cards, Check and other Tenders).
 Developing and maintaining Test Methodology.

Role: Logistics Business Analyst
Shell is the market leader through approximately 25,000 Shell-branded gas stations in the U.S. Approximately 22,000
Shell employees are based in the U.S. The U.S. head office is in Houston, Texas. Worked on multiple business process
engineering and improvement projects for Supply chain management, warehouse management and Logistics. As a
Business Analyst I was working for their Shell Fleet Navigator Point of Sale (POS) system and Shell WMOS. With 14,500
Shell stations nationwide, it is the largest footprint of any oil company in the country. This allows the customer to better
manage routes while maximizing efficiency and optimizing fleet behaviors.

Responsibilities:
 Aligning technology solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting and refining business requirements.
Assists business customers with business cases development for applications and functionality and also conduct risk
and cost analysis.
 Worked to standardize development of computerized POS systems and simplify interconnecting POS devices.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has more than 380 locations in 40 states, providing professional truck drivers and
motorists with 24-hour access to clean and safe places to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG),
travel items, electronics, snacks and more, as well as a wide variety of restaurant offerings. As a Business analyst I was
working for their Pump start Point of sale (POS) program where, if the customer pays with cash, company check, debit
card or any accepted major credit card, Love’s Pump Start Program allows them to activate the pump in the fuel lane.

Responsibilities:
 Actively Participated in daily scrum stand ups, sprint demos and sprint retrospectives in an agile environment.
 Created user stories, use cases as well as acceptance criteria in supporting the implementation of each functionality.

Safeway's primary base of operations is in the western and central United States. The project was to enhance and
improve Point of Sale (POS) performance. It focused on inventory tracking, merchandising and optimal stock
maintenance. The application required integration of the centralized database to the point of sales system. I was also
involved in implementation of NetSuite Business Management tool.

Responsibilities:
 Analyzed current business process flow by understanding preset business rules and conditions through requirement
gathering.
 Addressed all aspects of the claim processing lifecycle, starting from identifying a claim right up to closure.
 Established a business Analysis methodology around the Rational Unified Process.
 Conducted user interviews, gathered requirements, analyzed the requirements using RUP methodology and
documented the requirements using Rational Requisite Pro.
 The project focused on Exceed suite of products and involved tracking of warehouse inventory in multiple locations.
