TRADE TERMS:

Spreadsheet - It is an
application that helps the user
to create spreadsheets
commonly used for budgets,
forecasting, and finance-related
tasks.
Excel - is a spreadsheet program
that allows you to store,
organize, and analyze
information.
Functions – are predefined
formulas that perform
calculations by using specific
values.
AVERAGE
To calculate the average of a group of
numbers, use the AVERAGE function
(no rocket science here). The formula
below calculates the average of the top
3 numbers in the range A1:A6.
SUM FUNCTION
1. Type =SUM in a cell
2. Followed by the open and close
parenthesis
3. Select a range
4. Hit enter
IF FUNCTION
1. Use =IF(Logical_test,[value_if_true],
[value_if_false]) to create an if-else
statement.
2. Add AND, OR, or NOT function to
evaluate more complex situations.

1. Select a cell
2. Type =AVERAGE(select a range)
3. Hit enter
