    APPLICATION OF GAS LAW

    1. Application of boyle's law

    *Refrigerator
    The modern refrigerator takes advantage of the gas
    laws to remove heat from a system. Compressed gas
    in the coils is allowed to expand. This expansion
    lowers the temperature of the gas and transfers heat
    energy from the material in the refrigerator to the
    gas.

    *Aerosol spray
    Spray paint or aerosol spray is consider one of
    applications of Boyle's law, as it is generally based
    on Boyle's law, where the paint container contains
    two substances, one of them is the paint material
    itself, and the other is a compressed gas in a
    liquid state in the container
    *Oxygen tanks

    Boyle's law to calculate how much oxygen time


    remains in an E-sized cylinder. Boyle's law
    states that at a fixed temperature (room
    temperature) of an ideal gas, the pressure is
    inversely proportional to volume. Boyle's law
    can be further rearranged to state that pressure
    times volume equals a constant.

    Fixed temperature
    Air is blown into the balloon; the pressure of
    that air pushes on the rubber, making the
    balloon expand. If one end of the balloon is
    squeezed, making the volume smaller, the
    pressure inside increased, making the un-
    squeezed part of the balloon expand out. There
    is a limit to how much the air/gas can be
    compressed, however, because eventually the
    pressure becomes so great that it causes the
    balloon to break.

    Boyle's law, a gas law, states that there is an inverse relationship between the pressure and volume of
    a gas. When the volume increases, the pressure decreases, and conversely, as long as the
    temperature stays constant. Therefore, reducing the volume by half will double the pressure, while
    doubling the volume will halve the pressure.
    2.Application of charles’ law

    Hot air balloon


    When the fuel ignites in a hot air
    balloon, it heats up the air inside,
    which then expands according to
    Charles' Law. As a result of this
    expansion, the air density decreases,
    allowing the hot air balloon to ascend.

    scuba diving tanks


    Charles' Law states that the
    volume of a given amount of gas
    is directly proportional to the
    Kelvin temperature, provided the
    amount of gas and the pressure
    remain fixed. As the diver enters
    colder water, the tempera- ture of
    the air in his BC is reduced.
    thermometer
    A thermometer is an instrument that
    measures temperature. It can measure the
    temperature of a solid such as food, a liquid
    such as water, or a gas such as air. The three
    most common units of measurement for
    temperature are Celsius, Fahrenheit, and
    kelvin. The Celsius scale is part of the metric
    system.

    Charles Law is used in various scenarios to link the volume and temperature of a gas under
    constant pressure and gas quantity. This law emphasizes the direct correlation between volume
    and temperature.
