1. INTRODUCTION
Harmony collage office of Finance is one of the non-profit organization and government office
which gives the public financial services to the society and other public offices in the Colleges of
Harmony. It undertakes different financial activities of government offices in Collage of
Harmony. Because it is finance related government sector, its activity is governed by policies,
strategies, manuals and guidelines developed by the Bureau of Finance. It collects and aggregate
the required Collage of Harmony financial data and information and submit reports to the
Woreda Administrative Council (Cabinet) and BoFED.
Starting from its establishment Collage of Harmony Office of Finance until 2016 it was
continued its normal operations but not highly computerized at the time of its establishment most
activity was done manually and take many times which has its own effect on the performance
and daily activities of the office. However, currently the office was tried to computerize its
activity
Generally, omo valley colleges Finance was performing its activity according to the policy,
strategy and guidelines given from omo valley college of Finance.s

By considering this Harmony Grand College was established to play its part in Ethiopia n higher
education. This college has established to provide a training and quality education, conduct
problem solving researches, engage in value added community service and training technology
to the community in and around wolaita. As stated in the Ethiopian higher education
proclamation 650/2009, the main objective of higher education institutions is to provide quality
education with the aim of producing and supplying competent employees to the world of work
and fostering technology bland knowledge transfer. Further more the new education policy
which encourage the private sector to invest in education in general and higher education in
particular, has promoted investors to actively participate in the expansion of higher education in
the country to meet the over increasing demand for qualified and competent man power.
Harmony grand college has taken advantage of this opportunity and envision being the leading
private college and a center of excellence in practical education and applied research in east
Africa.

evaluate the financial health of the organization.

industry benchmarks or previous periods. It helps identify areas of strength or weakness relative

5.1 Summary and Conclusion
Omo valley Office of Finance is found Harmony collage. The office has its own rule, regulation,
plan, vision, structure, mission and objectives. SWOT analysis-the organization have also its
own strength and opportunity also its weakness and treat which hinders the organization to
perform its activity in a proper way.
Government finance administration is one of the organizational divisions which has its own
working strategic plan and perform finance administration related activities. In addition to this
the organization has certain strength, weakness, opportunity and treats which I have seen from
different perspective. Besides this, the organization process its activity in fair and active manner
in order to serve financial and non-financial problems of the organization. Finally I would focus
and look the above problems in woreda Finance I recommended my solution and suggestions
from my point of view.

To recommend the office has so many weakness, treats and problems. In order to reduce these
weakness and problems there are improvements regarding governance, management, human
