    MEXE Knows!

    GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

    General Guidelines:
    ● Participants should be bonafide students of BS Mechatronics Engineering of Batangas
    State University – The National Engineering University, Alangilan Campus.
    ● Each section of every year level must have at least one (1) representative consisting 3-4
    members.
    ● Names of the participating team must be submitted to the organizer on or before the
    deadline of registration.
    ● All participating teams must be present on May 4, 2024 at the venue.

    Registration:
    ● Participating teams must have a team name and register its members through the link that
    will be provided by the organizers.
    ● Each team must assign a team leader upon registration.
    ● Registration must be done on or before the deadline set by the organizers.
    Game Mechanics:
    MEXE Knows! Part 1 (Elimination Round)
    ● The game moderator will read the rules of the game where all teams are expected to
    comply to ensure that the game runs smoothly. The team who will show inappropriate
    behavior will be eliminated.
    ● The game moderator will read the questions twice to the participants.
    ● Each round consists 10 questions wherein:
    o Easy Round – General Knowledge Questions
    o Average Round – Trivial Questions
    o Difficult Round – Program/Course Related Questions
    ● Each team will be given a pen and paper where they could write their answer.
    ● Each team has 5 seconds to answer for Easy and Average Round but will be given 10
    seconds to answer the Difficult Round.
    ● After the timer, the team leader must raise their answer and once raised, no changes
    can be done.

    Rounds and Pointing System


    Easy Round 1 point
    Average Round 3 points
    Difficult Round 5 points

    MEXE Knows! Part 2 (Final Round)


    ● Participating teams from the top three teams from the elimination round will play
    MEXE Knows! Part 2 or the Final Segment of the Competition.
    ● The teams will answer five (5) difficult questions with equivalent 5 points each.
    ● Team with the highest points wins.

    Prizes
    Winner Php 1,500.00
    1st Place Php 1,000.00
    2nd Place Php 800.00
