The terms and conditions mentioned hereunder are meant to make you
aware of your rights and responsibilities towards using all our services
provided by SAM SCHOOL BUS brand of SAM TOURS & TRAVELS,
website at www.samschoolbus.com / or android / iOS / progressive
web applications (“apps”) (referred henceforth as “SAM School Bus”).
These terms and conditions apply for all existing and future customers of
SAM School Bus across its services. Please read the terms and conditions
carefully. By accessing or using our services on www.samschoolbus.com /
or android / iOS / progressive web applications (“apps”), you are agreeing
to legally binding terms and conditions with SAM School Bus.
Your Profile and User Information
For purposes of these Terms of Use, all information provided to us under

Your Profile, including your name, contact number, picture and details
required for Payment, preferred pick up and destination locations from the
options provided on the Website / App shall be defined as “User
Information”.
By providing us with Your User Information, you confirm that:
• The User Information provided by You and under Your Profile is

accurate, genuine and will be regularly updated;
• The contact number provided in Your User Information belongs to
You, has been validly acquired under applicable law and you may be
contacted on the number by way of calls or SMS messages by Us,
our Operators, drivers, and other Users;
Intellectual Property
The intellectual property in the Website / App and in the material, content
and information made available on the Website / App including graphics,
images, photographs, logos, trademarks, the appearance, organization and
layout of this Website and the underlying software code belong to SAM
School Bus.
You must not copy, modify, alter, publish, broadcast, distribute, sell or
transfer ( whether in whole or in part ) any such material. The information
provided on the Website / App is for Your personal use only.
School Bus code of student conduct
SAM School Bus brand of SAM Tours & Travels has developed a School
Bus Code of Student Conduct Policy consistent with the Code of Conduct
in schools, which addresses school requirements and respects three core
values:
A. Safety, Respect and Responsibility
The school bus policy, which applies to all students on all School buses,
recognises the driver and lady attenders as the authority on the bus at all
times, and expects students to do the same.
• The school bus is considered an extension of the classroom, and

therefore, classroom conduct must be observed at all times.
• The bus driver and lady attenders are responsible for the students
on the bus and must, therefore, receive the respect, consideration
and cooperation of each student.
• Students shall be assigned seats and shall remain in that seat while
on the bus by wearing seat belt.
• Students are not to attempt to get on or off the bus, or move inside
the bus while the vehicle is in motion.
• Students are expected to be at the pickup point 5 minutes before the
scheduled pick up time. The bus will not wait more than 2 minutes
in the morning for students who are not at the pickup point at the
scheduled time.
• Students are expected to go promptly to their bus after school hours
or when their bus is scheduled to leave from school.
• Any student violating bus regulations shall be reported by the driver
and attender to the concerned School Authority as soon as possible.
The concerned School Authority has the authority to suspend or
recommend permanent withdrawal of the bus privileges subject to
the provisions of the School Act. The following activities are
prohibited:
➢ Extending any part of the body out of the window

➢ Using profane language
➢ Throwing any items
➢ Fighting
➢ Damaging the Bus
B. Do not bully or intimidate others
Student bullying and / or indulging in harassment on the buses will not

be tolerated and will result in a long-term suspension of bus privileges or
a referral to the school administration. Students experiencing bullying or
intimidation on school buses are encouraged to discuss this with the
administration team.
Students wanting to disembark at a stop other than their designated stop

must provide a permission slip signed by the principal / authorized staff
member. Student behaviour which contravenes these values or whose
actions distract the driver, cause or have the potential to cause harm or
discomfort to self or others, is subject to disciplinary action, which
includes the following:
• Verbal warning from the administration team.

• Possible seat reassignment.
• Termination from the school bus service.
C. Parents Responsibility
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that students have been told the
school bus rules and to administer discipline. Students are expected to
respect these rules. Your son / daughter’s school bus driver has a
tremendous responsibility for the safe and efficient transport of your
children and keeping to a timely schedule. The school relies on drivers to
maintain orderly buses where students are safe. If any student’s behaviour
jeopardizes the safety and rights of him / herself or others, it is the
administration teams’ responsibility to provide the student with a conduct
notice to be taken to his / her parents. Parents / guardians who wish to
discuss such a notice are asked to contact the Administrator of
Transportation.
Routing Policy
➢ Route list/s will be shared by mail to all the confirmed Parents before
commencement of school.
➢ Request for Change of Route / additional stops / interchange of
buses / door pick up – drop, will not be entertained as this will
affect the existing routes, thereby causing delays. However, any
genuine / practical request/s will be considered on individual case
basis.
➢ If any parents do not register / request at the last minute / after
school starts, it will be difficult to accommodate as routing would
have already been frozen.
➢ In the event of change of address, the service is subject to
availability of buses / seats on that particular route & payment
clarification.
➢ Due diligence would have been followed while planning the routes.
We would have considered Traffic congestions / upgradations of
Projects undertaken by the government / journey time etc..
However, sometimes it may be challenging to manage the traffic
and in case of any delays due to the said condition it can be
deemed understood that the situation was beyond our control.
➢ Distance will be considered on exact routing and
not on google maps or direct from home to school & back.
➢ Both way kilometres will be considered for slab distance.
➢ The distance is calculated on the actual route mapping and not on
the radius / short cut / Satellite / Google Maps distance.
➢ One way transport would be 75% of the total transport fee.
Miscellaneous
✓ SAM School Bus undertakes no liability in case of cancellation of

trips due to breakdown or for reasons beyond its control. However,
alternate arrangement may be provided in its best capacity.
✓ SAM School Bus is not responsible for the baggage of a student gets
lost / stolen / damaged in the event of travel.
✓ Students should not carry any goods like weapons, inflammables,
firearms, ammunition, drugs, liquor, smuggled goods or any other
articles that are prohibited under law.
✓ Pickup / drop will be provided to the designed / pre-approved nodal
locations only, subject to route optimisation and feasibility. Parents
are requested to pick and drop accordingly.
✓ The pickup and drop times may be delayed due to some unavoidable
reasons like traffic jams etc. Parents are requested to cooperate with
the bus staff.
✓ Seats will be confirmed only after successful payment ( depending
upon seat availability ).
Cancellations & Refund Policy
Transportation services will be provided for the entire academic duration.

It is to be noted that the seats allotted to any student cannot be cancelled
in between the academic year however, in certain circumstances, the
legitimate requests may be considered keeping in mind the following :
• Registration Fee is Non Refundable, Non Transferrable and Non

Adjustable ( to any other academic ).
• Cancellation due to Lock Down / School cancelling classes /
announcing on line classes / Government implementing any safety
protocols, there will be no refund in consideration of fixed
operational costs.
• If the cancellation request is raised within one month from
commencement of school, first term fees will be deducted and
balance shall be refunded.
• If the cancellation request is raised after completion of one month
from commencement of school, the same shall not be entertained
and there will be no refund.
• In case of discontinuation / TC, parents are required to send a
request email with one month notice post which refund shall be
processed as per refund policy / terms.
Severability and Waiver
If any provisions of these Terms and conditions are found to be invalid by

any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and
conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any
term of these Terms and conditions shall be deemed a further or
continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted and

construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes pertaining to
the Website / App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
appropriate courts in Bangalore.
Modification of Terms
SAM School Bus brand of SAM Tours & Travels has the right to, at any
time, change or modify the terms and conditions applicable to the use of
this website and that of any sub-websites. Such changes or modifications
shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by
any means necessary in order to provide the most accurate and effective
information possible.
We will be using the contact details of the prospective parent registering

with us to reach them through any mode or medium.
