INTRODUCTION
The cell is a basic structure and functional unit of all living organism and it is very important
to all creature on earth. A cell can be a eukaryotic or prokaryotic. Eukaryotic can come in two
type which is unicellular and multicellular cell. The organism with eukaryotic cell it is called
as eukaryote and it is including all animals, plants, protozoa and fungi. Were, prokaryotic is
usually a single or unicellular cell and the organism with this type of cell as called as
prokaryote. The example organism of prokaryote is bacteria.

EXPERIMENT 1: ANIMAL CELL

In this experiment we will be preparing a temporary stains slaid mouth of eukaryotic animal’s
cell using human cheeks capitellum cell as a material and we will study a various part of the
cell that surround able under the compound light microscope.
The materials that we need to use is:
 Human cheeks capitellum cell
 Methylene blue 0.1 % stains solutions
 Glass slaid
 Cover slips
 Droppers
 Tweezer
 Sharp dissecting pins
 Toothpicks
 Weighing paper
 Glycerine 20%
 Compound light microscope
Procedure or Methods:
1) To begins the experiments, we must take a toothpick and gently rub the inside
of the cheek.
2) Place the part that has just been rubbed on the glass slaid.
3) Then, add a drop of a methylene blue solutions and wait it for 2-3 minutes.
4) After that, carefully clean the excess methylene blue solution around the cell
using a weighing paper.
5) Now, add a drop of glycerine on to the slaid.
6) Gently lowered, add a cover slip on the specimens to make sure that its didn’t
have any air bubbles.
7) Lastly, observe the slaid on the lowered and high powered of microscope.

Results and Discussions:

The cheeks capitellum cell likes most animal cell is irregular in shape and
structure outline. They are containing many types of organelles likes nucleus, cytoplasm and
membrane plasma. The membrane plasma is made up of protein.

The oral bacteria that we can see in the picture above, it is a cavity that have in mouth.
EXPERIMENT 2: PLANT CELL

In these experiments we will be preparing a temporary stains slaid onion of eukaryotic

animal’s cell using onion epidermis cell as a material and we will study a various part of the
cell that surround able under the compound light microscope.

The materials that we need to use is:

 Onion
 Iodine stain solutions
 Glass slaid
 Cover slips
 Droppers
 Tweezer
 A sharp razer a blade
 Weighing paper
 Glycerine 20%
 Compound light microscope

Procedure or Methods:
1) To begins the experiments, we must take the onion and remove the outer layer.
2) On the concave side of the layer is located his transparent membrane pieces
and epidermal cell compose single layer cell.
3) Then, using a blade, cut a tiny square on this layer.
4) After that, using a tweezer, peel of cut epidermal layer and transfer it on the
glass slaid that contains a drop of iodine stain solution.
5) Leave a peel in the stain for 2-3 minutes.
6) Therefore, carefully clean the peel from the stain use a weighing paper.
7) Add a drop of glycerine or water to the peel.
8) Gently lowered, add a cover slip on to the peel to make sure that its didn’t
have any air bubbles.
9) Lastly, observe the slaid on the lowered and high powered of microscope.
Results and Discussion:
The onion epidermis cell likes most plant cell which is rectangle and square shape
outline . They are containing many types of organelles likes animal cell too . For example ,
vacuole , membran plasma , cytoplasm and nucleus . The vacuole in the plant cell is rarely
big than vacuole in animal cell .

CONCLUSIONS
From the both experiment , we can see that animal cell and plant cell has a same in a certain
organel . Likes nucleus , membran plasma and cytoplasm . The most obvious difference that
we can see in this experiment is only that, plant cell have a big vacuole , have a cell wall and
a fixed shape were animal cell didn’t have that organel and the shape is irregular .
