change and customize the size and layout of a single page or an
entire document.

In Microsoft Word 2007 or later, the Page Setup tool is available
under the Layout tab in the Ribbon.

5. Define the terms :

a) Office assistant b) Help

Ans.

a) Office Assistant: In the context of Microsoft Office

applications, particularly in older versions like Office 97 to
Office 2003, the Office Assistant was a feature that
provided interactive help to users. It was represented by a
virtual character, such as Clippy the paperclip or other
characters like a dog, cat, or wizard, depending on the
version of Office. The Office Assistant would offer tips,
hints, and contextual assistance to users as they worked
within the application. While it was intended to be helpful,
many users found it annoying or distracting, and Microsoft
phased out this feature in later versions of Office.

b) Help: In the context of software applications like

Microsoft Word, "Help" refers to the built-in assistance
provided to users to understand and use the features of
the application effectively. Help resources typically include
user guides, tutorials, tooltips, contextual help, and online
resources like knowledge bases and support forums. Users
can access Help by clicking on the "Help" menu or
pressing the F1 key, which opens a Help window or pane
containing information relevant to the task or feature the
user is currently using. Help resources are designed to
assist users in troubleshooting problems, learning how to
use specific features, and finding answers to their
questions about the software.
