2. TSM and EMC Centera
As seen in the screen shots in the previous section, option for archiving or backing up to
TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) or EMC Centera are not available by default. These
storage options have to be turned on through the CLI command line.

1. Log in to Guardium appliance's CLI command line.

2. Run the command show storage-system. This will display the availability of each
external storage system for archive and backup processes:

Note that only SCP and FTP are available for both archiving and backing up, and that
TSM and CENTERA are not available for either.

3. Following is the syntax of the command used to turn on (or off) TSM and CENTERA
option for archive and backups:
store storage-system <tsm|centera> <backup|archive> <on|off>
To turn on TSM option for archive and backup run the following two commands:
store storage-system tsm archive on
store storage-system tsm backup on
To turn on CENTERA option for archve and backup run the following two command:

5. (TSM only) You will require to import the TSM configuration file to complete the setup
for TSM. This is done using the import tsm config command:
import tsm config <user@host:/path/[ dsm.sys | dsm.opt ]>
user@host - User account to access the file on the specified host.
/path/[ dsm.sys | dsm.opt ] - Full path filename of the file to import
You will always need to upload a dsm.sys file, and if that file includes
multiple servername sections, you will also need to upload a dsm.opt file. For
information about how to create these files, check with your company’s TSM
administrator.
6. TSM and EMC CENTERA option are now available.
