Dear Mr Cristanto,
It is my pleasure to offer you admission to McGill University. Congratulations! Your offer of admission is on the following terms:
Kindly confirm or decline this offer by October 6, 2023 at www.mcgill.ca/minerva. It is essential that you review our website at
https://www.mcgill.ca/mcgillabroad/incoming/exchange/get-ready-arrive for information on completing the admissions process and
preparing for your exchange. To be considered a full-time student in a given term at McGill and, in the case of international students, to
maintain the validity of your immigration status in Canada, you must register for between 12 and 15 credits.
Please note that access to specific courses is not guaranteed due to space limitations and that exchange students are not permitted to
take courses in the M.B.A. program, nor within the Medicine or Dentistry faculties.
As an exchange student, you are exempted from paying tuition fees at McGill. However, you are responsible for any on-campus printing
charges and course-specific fees. Additionally, all international students (non-Canadian citizens) must participate in the International
Health Insurance plan.
Students on exchange at McGill for more than six months must obtain a Certification d'Acceptation du Québec from the Ministère de
l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l' Inclusion Québec (MIDI) and a Study Permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (the McGill
CIC identifier is 019359011033). For details see www.mcgill.ca/internationalstudents. Admission to McGill is extremely competitive.
Accordingly, students who come to McGill on an exchange are not granted preferential status should they apply subsequently to a McGill
degree program.
