OTP

Direct Seller Registration


is OTP enabled now

In March, we added a new feature to PC registration process


to validate the mobile number through OTP. The process is
instant, simple and easy to follow.

Effective May 08, we will be introducing the mobile validation


process for new Amway Direct Sellers. Starting May 08, 2019
all new Amway Direct Sellers will be required to validate their
mobile number using OTP as part of the registration process.
Below mentioned are the steps for your reference.

Validation Process for New Direct Sellers

• While registering an additional feature is added to verify the


mobile number through OTP Process
• OTP shall be sent on the mobile number provided during
registration
• This is a MANDATORY process for all new Amway Direct
Sellers

Mentioned here are the steps for your reference:

➢ On this screen upon entering the required details & the mobile number an option to
GENERATE OTP gets activated. When a request is made to generate OTP, an OTP is sent
to the mobile number being registered.

➢ OTP message will be received on the mobile number entered by registering Direct
Seller
➢ Direct Seller enters the OTP and clicks “verify OTP”

➢ A message will appear “OTP has been verified successfully”.

This is also applicable for online Preferred Customer to Direct Seller


conversions.

FAQ’s
Q. What will happen if the New Direct Seller does not validate the mobile
number?
It is mandatory for the New Direct Seller to validate the mobile number
through a simple OTP process. The new direct seller will be able to submit the
application only if the mobile number being registered is validated.
Q. How much time does is take for the OTP to get generated on the mobile
number?
Ans: Its almost instantaneous.
Q. The OTP once generated will be valid for how much time?
Ans: The OTP once generated must be used within 120 seconds.
Q. By mistake if the Direct Seller has entered the OTP number wrongly – can it
be corrected?
Ans: Yes, that can be corrected.
Q. Is there any re-generate OTP option in case OTP is not received?
Ans: To generate a new OTP, the Direct Seller can click on Generate OTP option
again. Like this the Direct Seller can go thru the process up to 3 times. If the
OTP is entered wrongly all the 3 times, then the system will have a lag time of 2
minutes after which the password can be requested again.
Q. How will the Direct Seller know that the mobile number has been verified
Ans: A message will appear as “OTP has been verified successfully” once the
mobile number is validated.
Q. Is this process applicable for PC to ABO Conversion ?
Ans: Yes, the process will be applicable for PC to ABO conversion also. While
completing the conversion process, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile
number and same needs to be verified.
