Auto setup (Programming)

Before beginning this step you must first ensure that all your motor wiring connections are
connected correctly, there are no loose wire strands and all connection points are joined and
insulated correctly.

If you are using a limit switched motor ensure that the limit switches have been set correctly.

If this control panel was purchased in kit form you should not need to adjust the Force dials
as this would have been factory preset according to your motor type.

The purpose of the programming cycle is so that the gate control panel can learn its opening
and closing limits and learn its slowdown. If the control panel is not programmed it may run
inconsistently and may not reach its stopping points and/or slow down incorrectly.

Single Gate Users please disregard all references

to Slave/Trailing gate (M2).

1. Your gates should be in the closed position before beginning the programming cycle.
If they are not use the manual override to bring them to the closed position then release
the override.
2. Press and HOLD the f the FORCE dials on the top of the control panel.
3.When you hear the buzzer sound release the PROG Button.
4. Now press the button on your remote which activates your gates.
5. The control panel will now OPEN the Master/Leading gate (M1).
6. The control panel will now OPEN the Slave/Trailing gate (M2).
7. The control panel will now CLOSE the Slave/Trailing gate (M2).
8. The control panel will now CLOSE the Master/Leading gate (M1).
9. The buzzer will now sound indicating a successful programming.

If a gate is opened as a single gate it MUST be closed as a single gate.

If a gate is opened as a double gate it MUST be closed as a double gate.

Connecting Safety Sensors

The PE sensors are a safety device used to prevent the gates closing on an object or obstacle that
breaks the beam between the transmitter and the receiver.

This is absolutely necessary if the Auto Close function is used.

The PE Sensor loop must be removed when installing the PE sensors.

! If PE Sensors are not installed the loop must be retained.

responding to a remote control remote to the control panel.

* The gate(s) are open but will * Check the LED on the remote control
not close * Check the Power input from the batteries
* Check that the PE Sensor is aligned if in use
* The output voltage for * Check the accessories fuse
the accessories is not working and replace if necessary
* The gate(s) not reaching the end * Turn the FORCE 1 trimmer
of opening/closing distance fractionally clockwise

* No slow down * Re program the control panel

* The gate(s) are opening instead * Check the polarity of motor (s) wires.
