INSTRUCTIONS TO

INSTALL THE LATEST


ZKACCESS 3.5 SECURITY
SYSTEM
Installing Software
Then go to the link that we sent to you then download the ZKAccess3.5.
Open the setup.

Once the download is finished. Open the ZKAccess 3.5.

Select the “I accept the agreement” then click “next”.


Specify the location(the default location is on the local disk c) then click “next”.

Click “next”.
Select the “default database” then click “next”.

Select the location where the backup be stored (go the documents then click “make new folder”
then type ZKTeco or ZKTeco Backup then click “OK”). Click “Next”.
Once all the needs are specified you can begin to install the software. Click “install” to begin
installing the software.

Now the “Fingerprint driver SDK Setup wizard” will pop up to install the fingerprint driver that need
to use the fingerprint reader that compatible on the software. Click “Next” to install the driver.
Click “install” to begin.

Once the installation process is finished. Select “Yes, restart the computer now” and click “finish” to
restart the computer and finish all the installation.
Adding the Device
After the computer restarted, open the ZKAccess 3.5. The software will begin to update so that you
can use it smoothly. Once the updating process is complete, insert the username and password to
open the ZKAccess 3.5(default username and password is “admin”).

Go to device tab.
Click the “area” then click “add” to insert the area where your device was installed then click “ok”.

Click the “device” then click “add” to insert device.


Now add all the device(s). Click “next”.

Insert the IP address of the device you want to add then click “next”.

SF200 Inside - 192.168.1.201
SF200 Outside - 192.168.1.202
Note: Make sure that the device is connected via LAN cable.
Select what kind of device you want to insert (the default is standalone device) then click “next”.

Insert device name then choose area name where the device was installed. Make sure that “Clear
data in the device when adding” was not check so that all the data on the device will not be deleted.
Then click “next”.
Click “OK” to continue.

The adding device will now begin the process. Wait until the process is complete.
Once complete click “close”. You can see now the device information and how many personnel that
are registered

Editing Personnel Information
Once you’ve done the process. Go to “Personnel” tab to see all the personnel that registered on the
devices.

You can now edit the information of the personnel.


Get Logs
To get the logs on the device. Click the “device” tab.

Check the device you want to get the logs. The right click the device and click get logs.
Note: Make sure that the device is connected via LAN cable.
Select the “Get all logs” then click “Get”. Click “close” after the process is complete.
Click “Export” if you want to save the logs via excel

Click “Reports” tab. Select the time period you want to get logs then click “Search”.
Edit the file name then click Save.
Update the Software
You can also check if the software has update by clicking the “information icon” above.

Then click “Check For Updates”. The software will automatically search if there’s an update of the
software.
