On the other hand, the government could implement a range of measures to deal
with the problems of increasing life expectancy. The first solution would be to
increase the importance of the private sector in providing healthcare and pensions.
This would help reduce the burden on government spending. Another measure
would be to encourage the immigration of young working adults, which could help
increase tax revenues for the government. Finally, it is important to educate people
about the importance of money management and saving for retirement. By doing
this, when people reach their retirement age, they will have a certain amount of
money to take care of themselves without the need to depend on their children or
the government.
In conclusion, various steps could be taken to tackle the problems that a country
with an ageing population might encounter.
6. Education & healthcare should be free of charge and funded by the
government?
Education and health care are two essential aspects of every human life. Considering
its significance, some people express their opinion that the government should be
free of charge and funded. This essay will be present the view of this.
On one hand, education, nowadays, plays a vital role in the development of a society.
Not only it creates job opportunities, but also help people become aware of the
socioeconomic issues of the country. Making education free till the age of 18 would
encourage the pupils to finish at least their secondary education. For instance, the
percentage of student enrollment in schools in 2011 in Australia increased by 19%
than that of 2009, and it was because the government exempted fees for students in
these classes.
Moreover, the healthcare system can also be improved by providing either health
insurance or schemes that cover a minimum of 50 percent of the cost. Thus people
would not feel that healthcare is expensive while the government would not need to
bear the expenses alone. A healthier nation can help the country achieve greater
heights as citizens in such countries are more productive. Consequently, economic
growths will get bolstered and the government would be able to become self-reliant.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that governments should bear the primary
responsibility for financing education and healthcare services.
7. High use of computer games by children and young people (problem &
solution)
Nowadays, a number of doctors and specialists claim that the high use of computer
games is on the raise in this era, leading to many mental and physical problems for
young people, especially , children. this is a noticeable concern for new
generations. This essay will examine the problems which may arise using
computer games and some possible solutions.
To begin start, there are some problems of using computer games by the younger.
First, youngster tend to spend too many hours sitting in front of computers screens,
and this sedentary life style result in many worrying health drawbacks in children,
with obesity being one of the significant problems stemming from this inadequate
life style. Visual impairment is other problem that arises from playing computer
games a lot. These mentioned problems are just physical drawbacks due to using
digital gaming. There are also many mental difficulties that arise in children from
the utilization of computers. for instance, loss of social contact, using computer
lead to children becoming isolated and they do not want participate in family
gathering.
on the other hand, One of the effective ways to resolve this difficulty set up strict
regulations for children for regarding use of computer games. If companies
establish time limits for game usage, the problem could be resolved. For example,
if children exceed a specific time limit set by company, they cannot continue
playing the game. These laws would reduce the time spent playing game.
In conclusion, the problems that computer games create like loss of vision ability,
obesity, staying away from other hobbies and becoming unsocialized with parents'
help can easily be eliminated.
8. Gap Year, Yes/ No
Nowadays, Some people tend to take a year off from school or work after a period
of studying and working to rest or plan for themselves. I completely agree with the
idea above. In the following essay, I will discuss this idea further.
To begin with, Many people become more successful when they decide to take a
year off because at that time they spend time scheduled for themselves and it also
will help learners identify their passion. It is often said that one classroom is
merely suitable for 30% of students, therefore, the others have to cultivate their
skills by witnessing in real life through deferring the enrolment in the tertiary
schooling. It is interesting to note that while working or travelling, students could
comprehend more about their personalities, thereby not making ignorant career
choices.
In addition, a gap year will push you out of your comfort zone and daily activities,
creating many different relationships. Whether it's through cultural immersion in
another country or volunteering locally, meeting a variety of people will help you
hone your communication skills, broaden your worldview, and gain a better
understanding about myself.
In summary, I would concede that despite that, taking a year gap helps people in a
much better way. Overall, I am convinced that people should take a gap before
starting their journies a new thing or at a university
9. Modern communication technolog: negative effects on social relationships?
A few individuals believe that advancement in technology has some negative
effects on social relationships. I completely disagree with this viewpoint. This
essay will further discuss the viewpoints.
On the one hand, nowadays, technological communication platforms has changed
the way we communicate with others. Thanks to applications such as Zoom,
Google Meet, Discord, Skype, individuals can stay in touch with their beloved
ones anytime and anywhere. Furthermore, companies may also host online
meetings, despite the geographical barriers between the participants. For example,
during the pandemic of Covid 19, various businesses chose to work and
communicate via digital softwares. Surprisingly, while the workload stays
constant, employees shared that they felt more comfortable and productive
working from their homes than in offices. Hence, telecommunication has
outstanding advantages.
On the other hand, they not only a large support for education but also help people
with time and cost savings. Technology enables instant communication,
eliminating the need for time-consuming physical meetings or written
correspondence. Email, messaging apps, and video conferencing facilitate quick
and efficient communication, regardless of geographic location.
For the reasons mentioned above, with rapid development of the modern
commutation technology industry, I believe that it will help people easily connect
with all humans in the global.
10. Young people should leave home when they become older?
In today's modern society, some people think that it is best to encourage humans,
especially childrent to leave their family home as soon as possible. Others believe
children should stay at the family home for as long as they like. In my opinion, I
consider that leaving family home early has many advantages for people.
On the one hand, settling down in a new place creates many opportunities for all
people, especially adults when they are mature enough. Parents encourage their
children to develop themselves by getting out of this zone because a home is one
of the biggest barriers. For example, an older man will look for a better job with
higher salary and can be financially independent if he leaves home. Also, Living
independently will teach children a lot by presenting some difficulties, which
consequently will add some more experience that may prove essential in their
future lives.
On the other hand, some parents agree that their children should stay at home to
increase family bonding, while others spend time outside, leading to an emotional
rift. Moreover, saving on the cost of living is a good option. It can be the case that,
by living with their parents, they do not have to worry about money for things such
as food, clothes, and accommodation. For example, a girl who is not a resident in
her house and has to pay money to rent a dormitory.
In conclusion, while parents often encourage their children to live under one roof
due to various advantages, I believe it is essential for parents to encourage their
children to step out of their comfort zone.
