    AS A TEACHER AND PART OF THE SOCIETY, HOW WOULD YOU SHOW VALUING LIFE TO
    THE STREET CHILDREN AND WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE TO THEM?

    As a teacher who was raised in a poor family, I know the feeling of having less or nothing. Street
    children have less in life since they are living on the street. They have no so-called home that can provide safety,
    security and comfort to them; thus, they are living a challenging life. Having this kind of life really mellow my
    heart because I know the kind of struggles they have. Maybe this is the reason why I am easily attached with
    street children.
    With the position I have at present, I want to have an impact to their life through teaching. By having a
    weekend catch-up with them, I could give some of my free time to educate them and provide activities that can
    instill the essence of having a purpose in life. In this manner, they will be motivated to continually study and
    improve their life. Moreover, this will give them strength to never giving up no matter what challenges stuck
    them.
    This is easier to be said than done in action that’s why to fully implement this weekend catch-up with
    them, an extraordinary effort should be brought out as well as financial support from various companies and
    institutions. Volunteers are also needed to prepare the necessary materials such as books, snacks, board etc. to
    cater the needs of chosen street children.
    With this kind of endeavor, we can help street children to improve not only their life but also their family
    as well as improve the community. On the side of volunteers, it will be a great accomplishment with them
    because they know they have done something incredible. For street children, life is tough for everyone, but
    giving up is not an option in this world that is full of unprecedented circumstances. So, braced your teeth and dig
    it a little deeper before gradually moving upward on the stairs of your dream. Do not fear what the future holds,
    live freely and enjoy the process of achieving your dreams since everything happens to our life has a reason.
