Lesson 1. Rich Content in the Online Environment and the User Experience
Rich media is any form of content that deviates from normal text and static images
and engages with the end-user. It consists of different media formats (sound, video,
and images) used at the same time and place.

User experience is the ability of the Web to deliver full-scale GUI-style applications
to the client, making it easier to interact, share and access Web content. Although
rich user experience is based on rich content, it focuses on the rich user interface
to enhance how the data is presented, manipulated, and used by the users.

The user experience serves as a tool to measure the usefulness of a product or

service. It is his behavior as a person towards the application or product that
evaluates through his reaction while using the product.

Here are the multimedia contents that you can find on some websites:

1.Text
Text content is by far the most common media type in computing applications.
Most multimedia systems use a combination of text and other media to deliver
functionality. Text in multimedia systems can express specific information, or it
can act as reinforcement for the information contained in other media items.

2.Image
The digital image is a representation of a real image as a set of numbers that can
be stored and handled by a digital computer. These files appear in many
multimedia applications. Digital photographs can display application content or
can alternatively form part of a user interface. Interactive elements, such as
buttons, often use custom images created by the designers and developers involved
in an application. Digital image files use a variety of formats and file extensions,
the most common are JPEGs and PNGs.

3.Video
A video or video clip is a series of electronic signals used to generate a steady
source of still images, which simulate movement. Videos can utilize graphics,
pictures, or text, and are used for entertainment, education, or other purposes.

2
Through video hosting sites, you can take a video and show it to the entire world.
(e.g., YouTube)

4.Sound, Music, or Audio

Audio is a term used to describe any sound or noise that is within a range the
human ear is capable of hearing. Measured in hertz, the audio signal on a
computer is generated using a sound card and is heard through speakers or
headphones. If videos are too much for you, you can always record sounds. You
can now share your sound bites with the entire world. (e.g., Soundcloud)

5.Online Games
Online games are video games that are either partially or primarily played through
the Internet or another computer network. Game developers now create what is
called “browser-based games.” You do not need to install these games to your
computer as they run in most updated web browsers (e.g., Word Blitz, Farmville,
Candy Crush)

6.Online Tests
Electronic assessment, also known as e-assessment or online test, is the use of
information technology in various forms of assessment such as educational
assessment, health assessment, and psychological assessment. Online survey
forms and tests automatically display the results when finished (e.g., Quipper,
Edmodo).

7.Courseware
Courseware is educational material intended as kits for teachers or trainers or as
tutorials for students, usually packaged for use with a computer. Courseware can
encompass any knowledge area, but information technology subjects are common.
(e.g., E-learning Courses using a Learning Management System).

8.Podcasts
An episodic series of digital audio or text files that a user can download and listen
to. It is often available for a subscription so that new episodes are automatically
downloaded via web syndication to the user’s local computer, mobile phone, or
portable media player. (e.g., Stuff You Should Know, TED Talks, The Starters, Ear
Biscuits).

9.Vodcasts
An episodic series of videos streamed online. It is something like a TV program or
element of a program. Unlike TV programs which you have to watch when
scheduled, vodcasts are stored on servers and you can download them whenever
you want. “Video-on-Demand” (VOD) with ‘cast’ thrown on the end as in broadcast.
(e.g., YouTube series/shows like Video Game High School, Good Mythical Morning).

Lesson 2. Uses of Multimedia in Different Fields

1.Education – Multimedia plays a vital role in the learning process of learners.

Multimedia is used to create and produce computer-based training (CBT) materials
and courses, including online and CD-based encyclopedias. Multimedia content
improves the learning process and motivates the students to interact well in the
class.

2.Entertainment – The special effects and animations that are being applied in all
modern movies are the products of multimedia content. For that reason, there has
been a drastic evolution in the world of online games, majority of the online games
today are highly interactive.

3
3.Business – Many businesses integrate media content on their advertisement as
their marketing strategy to attract prospective clients or consumers.

4.Medicine – The field of medicine integrates multimedia content to analyze further

their field of study and to train future doctors and practitioners easily through
visual presentation. Multimedia can also simulate the effects of viruses and
diseases on the human body to find and develop ways of preventing them.

5.Mathematics and Scientific Research – Multimedia is used to simulate or

model various situations that would otherwise be difficult to grasp in real-time (i.e.,
erupting volcano, tornado) wherein aftereffects can be presented to colleagues or to
the learning public. Mathematical equations and formulas that can be presented as
visual models can be easily be viewed using multimedia. Chemical and molecular
models can also use multimedia to present, manipulate and create new substances.

6.Government – Multimedia is used by governments around the world to convey

information, procedures, and regulations for their citizens. Multimedia also finds
uses in the military, engineering, and many other fields.

Lesson 3. The Evolution to Web 3.0

Web 1.0
It is the “readable” phrase of the World Wide Web with flat data. In Web 1.0, there
is only limited interaction between sites and web users. Web 1.0 is simply an
information portal where users passively receive information without being allowed
to post reviews, comments, and feedback.

Web 2.0
It is the “writable” phrase of the World Wide Web with interactive data. Unlike Web
1.0, Web 2.0 facilitates interaction between web users and sites, so it allows users
to interact more freely with each other. Web 2.0 encourages participation,
collaboration, and information sharing. Examples of Web 2.0 applications are
YouTube, Wiki, Flickr, Facebook, and so on.

Web 3.0
It is the “executable” phrase of Word Wide Web with dynamic applications,
interactive services, and “machine-to-machine” interaction. Web 3.0 is a semantic
web that refers to a technology, where information and data are stored in such a
way that the computer systems understand them. In Web 3.0, computers can
interpret information like humans and intelligently generate and distribute useful
content tailored to the needs of users. It also brings the concept of a personal
desktop. It will give you the option to save your data and access it from anywhere
in the world.

Lesson 1. ICT as Medium for Advocacy and Developmental Communication

What is advocacy?
 Advocacy is the active promotion of a cause or principle.
 Advocacy involves actions that lead to a selected goal.
 Advocacy is one of many possible strategies or ways to approach a problem.
 Advocacy can be used as part of a community initiative, nested in with other
components.
 Advocacy is not a direct service.
 Advocacy does not necessarily involve confrontation or conflict. Some examples
may help clarify just what advocacy is:
 You join a group that helps build houses for the poor—that is wonderful, but it is
not advocacy (it's a service)
 You organize and agitate to get a proportion of apartments in a new development
designated as low to moderate-income housing—that's advocacy
 You spend your Saturdays helping sort out goods at the recycling center—that is
not advocacy (it's a service)
 You hear that land used for the recycling center is going to be closed and you
band together with many others to get the city to preserve this site or find you a
new one. Some of you even think about blocking the bulldozers, if necessary—
that's advocacy

Change.org is dubbed as the world’s platform for change where anyone from the
online community can create a petition and ask others to sign it. During the past
times, petitions are only done by signing a paper, usually done by a group asking
for signatures via travel. Change.org gives access to more people by allowing the
online community to affix their digital signatures on a petition. For years,
7
Change.org hosted several petitions that helped solve the following problems:
economic problems, social injustice, abuse of human rights, lack of education,
environmental concerns, animal abuse, human health concerns, and world hunger.

The Role of ICT in Recent History

Throughout recent history, the Philippines has been one of a few nations that
demonstrates unity for a call to action or social change. These campaigns for social
change would have not been successful if it were not for ICT.

1. EDSA (People Power Revolution)

The People Power Revolution lasted from 1983 to 1986. During a radio broadcast of
Radyo Veritas, Cardinal Sin encouraged the Filipinos to help end the regime of
then-President Ferdinand Marcos. A major protest took place along EDSA from
February 22 to 25, 1986 involving two million Filipinos from different sectors.
These included civilians, political parties, the military, and religious groups. The
radio broadcast helped change the course of history. Without it, Filipinos would
have not been moved into action.

2. EDSA Dos
This is also known as the 2001 EDSA Revolution, which happened from January
17 to 21, 2001. It was fueled after 11 prosecutors of then-President Joseph Estrada
walked out of the impeachment trial. As a result, the crowd in EDSA grew over a
few days through text brigades. Like the first People Power Revolution, EDSA Dos
would have not been successful without the text brigades.

3. Million People March

This is a series of protests that mainly took place in Luneta Park from August 22 to
26, 2013. Several demonstrations happened around the key cities in the
Philippines and some locations overseas. It was to condemn the misuse of the
Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF). Though dubbed as the Million
People March, the number of total attendees was only around 400,000. Despite
that, it was still considered a success and demonstrated how powerful social media
campaigns are. The organizers and promoters of the Million People March used
Facebook and Change.org as their mediums.

4. Yolanda People Finder

Recent storms in Philippine history gave birth to the People Finder database
powered by Google. During typhoon Yolanda, the People Finder was a vital tool for
people across the globe to track the situation of their relatives. This proved to be
successful and is now adopted by more organizations to help people track relatives
during calamities.

Lesson 2. The Social Power of Social Media

Social media is a computer-based technology that facilitates the sharing of ideas,
thoughts, and information through the building of virtual networks and
communities. By design, social media is internet-based and gives users quick
electronic communication of content.

The power of social media is an indisputable force in the world. With the universal
platform (internet), where three billion people are connected online, it has emerged
as the strongest network in the history of mankind. Reaching out to millions of
people with a message usually requires strong planning and a great deal of
knowledge about how social media and information channels work.

8
Social media is being used in ways that shape society, politics, business, world
culture, education, careers, innovation, and more.

Social Media as Political Tool

Millions of people can express and share views and form political, social opinions.
Social media also offers a platform for political campaigners and organizers to
create a political market platform where candidates, government officials, and
political parties can use social media to create public opinion in the desired
direction. Political campaigners have understood the power of social media and that
along with advertising on traditional mediums such as posters, billboard
advertising, television, and newspapers, they must fund and invest in a digital
marketing campaign if they want to compete with their rival parties.

Social Media as Awareness Tool

It is a very useful medium for spreading awareness. For example, it can be of use to
spread information about dramatic events or to warn others about risky routes.
When immigrants reach a new country, they can also use social media to contact
their fellow countrymen who are already there. They can get information about
visas and permits, government authorities, what they can turn to, or what things
cost.

Social Media as Commerce Tool

The power of social media has attracted huge commercial interest which has begun
to jump and exploit the medium. The social media campaign has become a
business with the emergence of several thousand organizations across the world.
Apart from driving users of Facebook to their website using marketing promotion
and other strategies, Facebook and Google are good examples of large multinational
companies, have used them for pulling information of the users for their marketing
strategies.

Social Media as Recruitment Tool

Social networking is slowly being monitored and governed by the recruitment
industry. Many recruiters are currently taking a much more positive method to
source and vet candidates using social media. For the past 10 years, recruitment
agencies are aware of the potential of social media, can they use it towards the
company’s goals, time, and objectives. For individuals, Facebook and YouTube give
people the chance to connect, offer opinions, exchange knowledge, as well as
provide the experience of jobs and interviews.

Lesson 3. Digital Citizenship

The online environment should be a safe space in which everyone feels protected.
Digital citizenship is the continuously developing norms of appropriate, responsible,
and empowered technology use. There are nine elements of digital citizenship,
related to technology usage inside and outside the school environment:

1. Digital Access
This is about the equitable distribution of technology and online resources.
Technology users need to be aware that not everyone has the same opportunities
when it comes to technology. Users need to keep in mind that some may have
limited access, so other resources may need to be provided. To become productive
citizens, we need to be committed to making sure that no one is denied digital
access.

9
2. Digital Commerce
This is the electronic buying and selling of goods. It focuses on the tools and
safeguards in place to assist that buying, selling, banking, or using money in any
way in the digital space. Career and technical education use the tools of technology
to show students the path for their future.

3. Digital Communication
This is the electronic exchange of information. All users need to define how they
will share their thoughts so that others understand the message. It also deals with
understanding the variety of online communication mediums such as email, FB
messenger, and the like.

4. Digital Literacy
This deals with the understanding of how to use various digital devices. It is the
ability and knowledge needed to learn and teach using technology tools. Digital
literacy also includes the ability to discern good information from poor, such as
“fake news” from real news.

5. Digital Etiquette
This refers to electronic standards of conduct or procedures and has to do with the
process of thinking about others when using digital devices. Digital etiquette
shapes the user’s online behavior to respond positively to online content. Whether
in the classroom or online, being aware of others is an important idea for everyone.

6. Digital Law
This deals with legal rights and restrictions governing technology usage. It is where
enforcement occurs for illegal downloads, plagiarizing, hacking, creating viruses,
sending spam, identity theft, cyberbullying, and other cybercrimes.

7. Digital Rights and Responsibilities

This is the set of requirements and freedoms extended to every digital citizen.
Digital citizens have the right to privacy, free speech, etc. Basic digital rights must
be addressed, discussed, and understood in the digital world. With these rights
also come responsibilities as well. Users must help define how the technology is to
be used appropriately.

8. Digital Health and Wellness

Digital citizens must be aware of the physical stress placed on their bodies by
internet usage. Beyond the physical issues are those of the psychological issues
that are becoming more prevalent such as Internet addiction. Users need to be
taught that there are inherent dangers of technology. Digital Citizenship includes a
culture where technology users are taught how to protect themselves through
education and training.

9. Digital Security
This refers to the electronic precautions to guarantee safety. Viruses, worms, and
other bots can be passed along from one system to another just like an illness. As
digital citizens, we need to have strong passwords, virus protection, backups of
data, and surge control of our equipment. We must protect our information from
outside forces that might cause disruption or harm.

13
Lesson 1. Planning and Conceptualizing the
Content
Always start with the ends in mind. Generate your
ideas about content and identify various
opportunities based on your target audience. Have
a clear plan of actions, responsibilities, work
requirements, timeframe, and budget if needed. Set
a SMART goal to target.

Specific – (What do you want to do or want to achieve?)

Set a realistic goal that is direct, detailed, and meaningful. Make sure that your
goals are focused and can identify a concrete outcome. Your goal will be at risk or
vague without the specifics of the goal because knowing what you wanted to
achieve is knowing the leverage to success.

Measurable – (When will you know when you reach it?)

Make sure that your goal is trackable and quantifiable. Defining your definition of
“success” will aid you to estimate your current achievement level on reaching your
specific goals.

Attainable – (Is it possible for you to reach your goal?)

Work towards a goal that is challenging but possible and doable. Check if you have
the tools or resources that will help you to achieve and attain your goals.
Realistic – (Are your current skills enough to reach your goal?)
Knowing yourself is the key to your success. Be honest with yourself and know
your capabilities and the things that you cannot do. Be realistic toward your goals
as well as on your capacity to do.

Time-Bound- (When exactly do you plan to accomplish it?)

Give yourself a deadline. Every goal should have a target date to finish. Having
deadlines motivates oneself to do more efficiently and helps you to be focused on
reaching your goals.

Concept Paper
Before starting a project or campaign, you should be able to do the necessary
paperwork better known as a concept paper. The concept paper is a summary of
projects or issues that contemplate interests, experience, and expertise that
commonly serves as a purpose of delivering an in-depth discussion of a certain
topic that a person has a strong position on. Concept paper can also be used as a
mainstream educational tool to develop and to create a solution to a certain
problem or issue. It is also used to convince a panel of potential funders to help a
product, program, or service become a reality and guides the implementation of a
project.

Key Points on making your Concept Paper

1.Rise with a concept topic or idea that you are genuinely interested in.
2.Write down the questions associated with the topic or idea you have chosen.
3.Create a possible solution from each of the questions that you have developed.
4.Classify what kind of data you need that will answer your questions and identity
how will gather the information needed.
5.Identify how you will analyze, interpret, and present the overall data you gathered.

14
Five elements of a Concept Paper
1.Title - The title of your concept paper will serve a lot in terms of getting the
audience's interest, so make sure to have a short but catchy and interesting title of
your chosen topic. The title of your project or concept paper should also give a full
overview of what the concept paper is all about and what are the things you are
resounding out about. In creating your title make sure to stick to the main point of
the chosen topic and use relevant, easy-to-understand words and avoid being
wordy. The title page is usually in the form of a question.

2.Introduction - This element of the concept paper serves as the most important

16
It involves the actual release of the website/page for public view and promotion.
Promotion typically starts before the actual release.

4.Maintenance
It involves responding to feedback from your website/page visitors and continuing
to improve the website/page.

Lesson 2. Research for ICT Projects

Research is essential whether you love it or hate for there is a real urge for it. Every
day, we had undergone different problems and dilemmas in life and found their
solution. Sometimes, it is hard and takes time when research is needed. According
to Western Sydney University, “Research is defined as the creation of new
knowledge and/or the use of existing knowledge in a new and creative way to
generate new concepts, methodologies, and understandings. This could include
synthesis and analysis of previous research to the extent that it leads to new and
creative outcomes.” On the other hand, research skills are our ability to find an
answer to a question or a solution to a problem. Research skills also include the
ability to gather information about the topic. We have to review that information,
analyze and interpret the information in a manner that brings us to a solution.

Research makes you wiser on the decisions you make in life and gain more
experiences and a set of knowledge as you go through different findings and
conclusions during the process of research. To be exact, the more research you
conducted the more things you can do in life. That is why research is a must in
delivering innovation, integration, promotion, and building change in a society or
community. With this, learning the basic of research skills are essential for the
21st century in making life more convenient and smarter. Theses consist of
identifying the current trends, demands, working formats, as well as the popular
authors and topics. All the relevant information may help you in your research
study. As part of the research for content in Social Advocacy, it requires several
aspects to be taken into account. One of these is the proper background research
of your proposed ICT project by translating your own made concept paper into an
infographic. In creating your ICT project, it is also important to take into
consideration your targeted audience that is why audience profiling must be done.

Audience Profiling
Audience profiling is the process of defining exactly who your target audience is by
unifying and analyzing their behaviors across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
(Klin, 2018). In developing an ICT project, you need to consider the demographics
and psychographics of your intended audience.

1. Demographics – is the classification of the population according to gender,

age, income level, religion, ethnicity, education level, etc.

2. Psychographics - is the classification of the population according to their

characteristics, lifestyle, attitudes, social class, aspirations, values, tastes,
activities and interests, and other psychological criteria.
You can effectively reach your target audience when you understand both their
demographics and psychographics. The combination of information you get will be
your stepping stone for making them involved and to get them interested in your
proposed ICT project.

Lesson 3. Designing and Copywriting for ICT Projects

According to Medium.com, a design is a plan or specification for the construction of
an object or system or the implementation of an activity or process, or the result of
that plan or specification in the form of a prototype, product, or process.

17
In ICT, design defines the aesthetic and usability features of an ICT project or
product.

Design Dimensions

1.Functionality - refers to the functions or tasks a product can perform

2.Usability - defined as a measure of a product’s potential to accomplish the goals

of the user in an efficient, healthy, easy, and pleasant way

3.Aesthetics - determine the appearance of a product, giving it a distinctive ‘look’

or image

Copywriting is the process of checking ICT content. Copyrighting an ICT project

may involve a third-party institution or group to handle the process. A basic
understanding of copyright principles is essential for any blogger, researcher, or
anyone who publishes their creative works. All copyright law under Republic Act
8293 – Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines covers a broad range of creative
works. Copyright or author’s right is a legal term used to describe the rights that
creators have over their literary and artistic works. Works covered by copyright and
their validity ranges from the following medium:

a.Literary works – These are prose such as books, news stories, scientific papers,
novels, poetry, or any other forms of “word-only”. The validity of copyright under
literacy works applies during the lifetime of the author plus fifty (50) years after
death.

b.Musical works – These apply to both the lyrics and the music. Under musical
works, the copyright falls under fifty (50) years from the year recording took place.

c.Dramatic works – These are plays, including any accompanying music.

Copyright in dramatic works whether published or unpublished expires fifty
(50) years after the end of the year of creation.

d.Pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works – These are photographs, drawings,

paintings, and any other kinds of two- or three-dimensional art. These works’
copyright applies under fifty (50) years from the publication.

e.Motion pictures and other audiovisual works -These are movies, television
shows, YouTube videos, and any kind of multimedia. The audio-visual works shall
be protected for fifty (50) years from the date of publication. If it is unpublished, it
is protected for fifty (50) years from the date of creation.

f.Sound recording – These are separate copyright that protects a recording artist’s
rendition of a work. Performances not incorporated in recordings shall be protected
for fifty (50) years from the end

Lesson 4. Developing and Constructing the ICT Project

The development phase is one of the crucial stages in constructing and producing
your ICT project because this phase is where skills and creativity should foster. The
creator should also need to be careful not to plagiarize works and give proper
credits to the owners of different intellectual properties in crafting your project
unless it is under fair use.

Fair Use means you can use copyrighted materials without a license but only for
certain purposes. These include commentary, criticism, reporting, research, and
educational purposes. By this, fair use must follow these prescribed guidelines: (a)

18
majority of the content you created must be of your own; (b) give credits to the
copyright holder, and (c) do not make money out of the copyrighted work.

The creator can also use Creative Commons – an American non-profit organization
devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon
and share legally. The organization has released several copyright licenses known
as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public.

Activity 2. Short Essay

You are a blogger who writes about different travel locations in the Philippines.
How would you measure the success of your blog? Write your answer in the space
provided.

How to Create and Manage a Website through a Free Webhosting Platform

As technology advances, it enables us to achieve more and more tasks without even
realizing how complex the jobs are. Creating a website by yourself is one of these
21
wonders that has become a reality. With the evolution of website builders, everyone
can design a website and craft an impressive online presence for themselves.

1.How to design a website

Your Website should meet one main goal. All elements of your site should serve
that overarching purpose. For example, suppose your Website's purpose is to
inform people about safety precautions. In that case, you can utilize different
techniques to support your efforts, such as showing photos, videos, writing blog
articles, and more. Having multiple main objectives is likely to result in confusion,
which can, in turn, increase the chances of your visitors leaving your page
prematurely.

2.Choose your website builder

Now that you have identified your goal, it is time to pick the right tool to reach it. A
website builder (also called a content management system or CMS) is a platform on
which you can create, personalize and publish a website.

3.Define your layout

It takes only 50 milliseconds for visitors to form an opinion about a website. This is
why your pages' visual structure - or, in other words, your website layout - is so
crucial to get right. To set off on the right foot, you can pick a template to base your
design. Templates are websites with pre-designed layouts created by professional
designers.

4.Claim your domain name

Your domain name is your address on the internet. It's what your visitors will see
in the bar of their browser, right after the "www." Registering your domain name is
critical for your online success. Internet users automatically perceive websites with
a custom domain as more professional and trustworthy.

5.Gather your content

It includes your images, slogans, videos, texts, and more. Use your original
materials as much as you can to ensure you're offering valuable and branded
content.

6.Ask for feedback

Whether you're creating an online portfolio, blog, or any other type of Website, it's
time to take a step back and ask someone you trust to provide you with honest
feedback. Be receptive to critique, and remember that you may not always like
what you hear.

7.Publish - and get back to it

A site that looks like it's been lying dormant for too long is uninviting and can also
seem unreliable. Regularly updating your Website shows that you're present, active,
and up-to-date with what's happening in your industry.

Web Traffic
It refers to web users who visit a website and the amount of data sent and received
by visitors to a website. Web traffic is measured in visits, sometimes called sessions.
This is a common way to measure your Website's success and online business
effectiveness at attracting an audience.

22
Monitoring Site Statistics on Different Platforms
You can find out how many people are interacting with your Website. There are
many tools that you can use to measure the success of content on your Website.

1. WIX
You will see how much traffic your
site is getting, where your visitors
are coming from, and more with the
Site Traffic Analytics. Once you log
in to your WIX account, click the
Analytics tab in your site's
dashboard.

2. Facebook
Running a Facebook business page
can help you reach and connect
with your existing and potential
customers. To access Facebook Page
Insights, go to your Facebook Page
and click the Insights tab in the top
menu. Facebook Page Insights gives
you detailed analytics for your
Facebook Page, so you can track
what works, learn how people
interact with your content, and
improve your results over time.

3. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics
service offered by Google that tracks
and reports website traffic,
currently a platform inside the
Google Marketing Platform brand.

Benefits of Website Analytics &

Tracking
Here are some benefits of advanced
website analytics.
1.Know the visitors to the site.
2.Know exactly what the customers are looking for.
3.See what area customers are losing.
4.Find out how to improve the Website.
5.Measure the success of other marketing activities and see the match rate rise.

Activity 4. Infomercial
Using the Website that you created, make an infomercial that promotes ICT
Projects for social change.

23
Activity 5. True or False
Directions: Write TRUE if the statement is correct and write FALSE if the
statement is incorrect.
______1. On the Facebook page, a summary of the statistics can be found on the
Facebook Page Insight button.
______2. Using website statistics, you ca7n quickly determine which day and time
you can reach most people.
______3. Uploading a picture on Facebook generates big data.
______4. A web analyst should focus on the metrics that matter to the goals of a
business.
______5. The Analytics tab in Wix contains statistics about your website.
______6. The LIKE tab in the Insights of your Facebook Page contains the number
of visits to your timeline.
______7. Practical presentation skills are imperative for web analysts.
______8. Visitor loyalty is defined as how often visitors visit your Website or
Facebook Page.
______9. Communication skills are not an important skill set for web analysts.
______10. Depth of visit is defined as the number of the organic page follow, paid
page follows, and unfollows.
