I. CONTENT
The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of quadratic equations,
STANDARD inequalities and function, and rational algebraic equations.

The learner is able to investigate thoroughly mathematical relationships in various

situations, formulate real- life problems involving quadratic equations, inequalities
PERFORMANCE and functions, and rational algebraic equations and solve them using a variety of
STANDARD strategies.

LEARNING Illustrates quadratic equations (M9AL-Ia-1)

COMPETENCY
At the end of the lesson, the learners can:

1. recognize and give examples of Quadratic Equation.

Objective/s
2. illustrate Quadratic Equation.

III. PROCEDURES
Activity 1: Do you remember these products?
Let us recall how to multiply polynomials.
Remember that to multiply two polynomials, multiply each term of one polynomial
by each term of the other polynomial then simplify by combining similar terms if
needed.
