1. Connect thermometer. See Digital Thermometer Installation . (See procedure in this group.)
2. NOTE:
Monitor tachometer in the machine can be used. See Calibration procedure in Group 9015-20.
4. IMPORTANT:
Flow meter loading valve must be open before starting the engine and during the test to prevent damage
to the transmission pump.
5. Check and correct transmission oil level. See Check Transmission Oil Level
6. Heat transmission oil to test specifications. (See Transmission and Axle Oil Warm-Up Procedure in this group.) Access

7. Place transmission control and park brake lever in park “P” position.
8. Check transmission pressure. If pressure is not within specification, adjust pressure. (See Transmission System
Pressure Test in this group).
If flow is not within specifications, replace transmission filter, check pump suction tube and end fittings for air leaks,
remove and clean transmission suction screen and test flow again.
