    Course Description
    PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND ETHICAL STANDARDS

    Goals/Learning Outcome
    At the end of this chapters, the student will be able to:
    1. Distinguish the issues relating to morals, ethics, values, ethical codes, ethical
    standards and ethical dilemmas.
    2. Analyze the principal arguments concerning the importance of professional conduct
    in law enforcement.
    3. Recognize the importance of the PNP Customs and Traditions in attaining
    organizational goals and objectives.
    4. Analyze and ethical dilemma and the different ethical theories.
    5. Identify the salient provisions of Republic Act No. 6713 otherwise known as Conduct
    and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees applicable to law
    enforcement officers.
    6. Internalize the PNP Core Values distinguishing the organization as a noble
    profession.
