Subject:- FILLING UP THE POST OF SUB INSPECTOR/MOTOR


MECHANIC (COMBATISED) IN CRPF ON DEPUTATION BASIS.

Central Reserve Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, intends to fill up


124 (One hundred twenty four) vacancies of Sub Inspector/Motor Mechanic
(Combatised) on deputation basis.
2. The post is combatised and governed under the CRPF Act-1949 and
Rules-1955. The personnel selected for the post will be liable to serve anywhere in
India and they can also be put under any kind of physical/professional training, as per
the requirement of the post in CRPF.
3. Nominations of willing and eligible personnel may be forwarded through
proper channel alongwith their Bio-Data, indicating full service particulars, photocopies
of APARs for the last 5 years, duly attested on each page, Integrity Certificate and
vigilance clearance certificate as per proforma enclosed as Appendix “A”, so as to
reach the DIG (Estt), Directorate General, C.R.P.F., Block No.-1, CGO Complex,
Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, within 60 days from the date of issue of this
Circular. The eligibility criteria is given here under:-
SUB INSPECTOR/Motor Mechanic (COMBATISED) (Level-6, Rs. 35400-112400 in the
pay matrix).

Classification:-General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted, Non-


Ministerial (Combatised)
From amongst the personnel of the Central Government or the State
Governments or Union territories administrations:
a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre
or department; or
(ii) with six years regular service in the grade rendered after
appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-5 in the pay matrix
(Rs 29200-92300) : and
b) possessing the following educational qualifications, experience and
medical standards:-
(i) possessing two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in
Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by the National or State Council
for Vocational Training or any other recognized institution or
National or State apprenticeship certificate in the Mechanic Motor
Vehicle Trade of three years duration from a recognized institution;
(ii) three years practical experience in the field of concerned trade;
and
(iii) should be in Medical Category “SHAPE-I”.

c) The departmental candidates in the feeder category who are in the direct
line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on
deputation. Similarly, the deputationist shall not be eligible for
appointment on promotion.
d) Period of deputation : The period of deputation including the period of
deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this
appointment in same or some other organization or department of the
Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
e) Term of deputation : The term of deputation of Central Government
personnel will be governed in accordance with the Department of
Personnel & Training’s OM No.6/8/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 17/06/2010,
OM No. 2/6/2016-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17/02/2016, and as amended from
time to time.
f) Age limit : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation
shall be not exceeding fifty-six (56) years on the date of receipt of
applications.
g) CRPF reserves the rights to call or not to call, any/all candidates who have
responded against this circular/advertisement.
h) No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome of the
applications submitted by the candidates.
i) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
