Requisition ID Full/Part Time Location Description 36307 Full Time Dubai, Dubai, Convergys Job Description Title: Implementation Consultants Location: Middle East - Dubai Dimension & Scope: The Consultant will be responsible for multiple stages of an implementation project: initiation; definition; construction; test and deployment. The Consultant will be responsible for all activities of the solutions implementation team. The incumbent will be extensively involved in client-facing work throughout the stages of an implementation project and is likely to interface with external Solutions Implementation consultants as required by the client. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Consultant may be involved in one or more of the following disciplines: Implementation: Implementation management (delivery management) of complex projects. Manage the configuration, migration and testing strategy with the client Responsible for the solution in the operational environments for the duration of the Implementation phases. Responsible for the delivery of final solution to the client Acts as the principal in handing over project to client support for on-going service Solutions: Lead subject matter expert on highly complex solutions for client opportunities, implementations and on-going support Consult and understand client business problems and needs communicating them to project teams. Ensure client requirements and business needs are met and solution architecture is adhered to throughout the project life cycle. Responsible for the creation of all business & solutions requirements documents. Provides product and solution subject matter expertise to client systems integrators Architecture: Design complex end-to-end functional solutions Ensure that solutions are consistent with Convergys capabilities and technology direction. Responsible for ensuring that changes to project scope are consistent with the overall solution Consults with both the client and team on how changes to scope effect the overall solution Typically involved in the estimation process for new projects or changes in scope to existing projects. Responsible for supplying reports to account management (Programmes), team management (Implementation) and project management on complex projects. Provide coaching, support and training to less experienced team members. Develop solutions implementation methodologies and on-going strategy. Identify new business opportunities. Education, Experience & Professional Certifications: Bachelors degree in related field from a four-year college or university with eight to ten years related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred Ability to establish and maintain quality communication with the client. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a team Ability to make decisions regarding time and priority management. Working knowledge of UNIX, SQL, and/or Oracle Proficiency in English, as well as the native language of the hiring location Additional languages are desirable Frequent travel (could be c80%) Must have proficiency with various software applications including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Knowledge and experience of some of following: Convergys products; requirements analysis; solution design; product configuration and specification; data migration; testing methodology
Manage Quality initiatives with emphasis on continuous improvement in operating results and strengthening of underlying processes for the Site. Oversee the design, development of quality related initiatives and ensure quality measures are aligned with overall Business objectives. Support business and functional team to achieve quality objectives. Provide support towards continuous Improvement programs like Six Sigma across various functions to create and enhance value to clients. Imparting advanced training to personnel on quality related initiatives to percolate quality across the organization and building a Quality Culture. Motivate and mentor team members in managing their personal and professional goals Support Quality Lead in Integrating Quality & Continuous Improvement initiatives with other cross-center initiatives such as BPO blueprint, Service Management etc Support Quality Lead in tracking the progress against Organization and engagement objectives and ensure completion of Balanced Score card Support Quality Lead in driving the Employee Suggestion Program Track and report performance on organizational objectives and engagement objectives (Balanced Scorecard) & drive productivity score of the assigned project on a regular basis
