1. SECTION – I
(i) Contains 7 multiple choice questions. Each question has four choices (A), (B), (C) and (D) out of which ONLY ONE
is correct.
(ii)Contains 4 multiple choice questions. Each question has four choices (A), (B), (C) and (D) out of which ONE or
MORE are correct.
(iii) Contains 2 paragraphs each describing theory, experiment, date etc. Five questions relate to two paragraphs with
three questions on first paragraph and two questions on second paragraph. Each question of a paragraph has only
one correct answer among the four choices (A), (B), (C) and (D).
2. There is no questions in SECTION-II & III

3. Section-IV contains 7 questions The answer to each question is a single digit integer, ranging from
0 to 9 (both inclusive)

Marking scheme :
1. For each question in Section-I (i & iii), you will be awarded 3 marks if you darken all the bubble(s) corresponding
to only the correct answer(s) and zero mark if no bubbles are darkened. In all other cases minus one (–1) mark will
be awarded
2. For each question in Section-I (ii),
Full Marks : +4 ONLY if (all) the correct option(s) is(are) chosen;
Partial Marks : +3 If all the four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen;
Partial Marks : +2 If three or more options are correct but ONLY two options are chosen, both of which are correct;
Partial Marks : +1 If two or more options are correct but ONLY one option is chosen and it is a correct option;
Zero Marks : 0 If none of the options is chosen (i.e. the question is unanswered);
Negative Marks : –2 In all other cases.

3. For each question in Section-IV, you will be awarded 4 marks if you darken the bubble corresponding to the correct
answer and zero mark if no bubbles are darkened No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answers in this
section.
