Sub: - Renewal of Student Bus pass Online for 2024_25
Ref: - Orders of the president
All the students cunentry using the university's transportation
services are hereby informed
that their existing bus pass wi expire on June 30, 2024. After this date, their current pass wilr
no longer be valid. It's essential for all students using
the university,s transport services to
renew their bus passes before the deadline. They can
do this by logging into your GNUMS
account.

Please be aware that the online renewal process for

bus passes must be compreted between
June 04,2024, and June 30,2024.

Eere's how to renew bus pass online:

a) Sign in to GNUMS.
b) on the Dashboard, click on "click here to renew for bus pass ofAcademic year 2024-25;,
Verift your details (such as namg photo, address, contact number,
boarding point, college
time, etc.). Ifno changes are needed,

c) Click on the checkbox ,.I Agree to Terms and Conditions.,,

d) Click on "Submit."
e) click on "Pay No#'(for online payment, go to GNUMS -> Transport Fees -> pay onrine -
> Click on "Pay Now,' Button).

Note: students can pay the Transport Fees onrine, in cash, or through
a debit/credit card. If
they prefer to pay in cash or by card, they may do so at the
Student Section. For payment via
demand draft make the DD payable to .,parul University.,,

After applying for bus pass renewal and paying the required fee, students
shall collect their
new bus pass from the Transport office, Near Gate No. 03. They shall
carry rec€ipt oftranspo(
fees paid when collecting their permanent bus pttss.
 Additional Information:

a) students who wish to use the university's transport services for the first time or newly
admitted students during the academic year 2024-25 should contact the University
Transport Office in person to get a bus pass.
b) Final-year students who choose to pursue an intemship with agencies or companies located
outside the university campus are eligible for a proportionate refund from the annual fees

they paid' To start this process, complete the 'Final year students Fees Refund Form due
to Intemship,' get it endorsed by the relevant Head of Department (HOD) or Head of
Institution (HOI), and submit it to the Transport Manager.

Parul University offers bus services to its students through the Transport Department.
Existing
students studying in the university-who desire to avail transport faciiity for ihe
ac"a"*i" y""?
2024-25 can avail these transport facilities after paying a spicified transportation
fee.

a) Students wishing to use the transport facilities must visit Transport Department,
Near
Gate No. 03 and provide their MIS Number.

b) Students must obtain an application form from the Transport Department, filr it
out,
attach a passport size color photograph, and submit it back to the Transport Department.

c) The_ Transport Department will register the student's details on MIS and provide the
srudent_with a Transport Registration Number. The completed application form with
the student's MIS Registration Numbers will be retumed to the student.

d) Students must pay a specified annual transportation fee at the Student section. either in
cash or by Demand Draft made out to ,,parul University,,.

e) Altematively, if the student wishes to pay fees via MIS, they should: a. Open GNUMS
in Google chrome. b. Use Enrofiment No. as Usemame & DDMMyyyy Birthdav
Format as Password. c- crick on "Fees" Menu -> Transportation Fees d. verifr the
details & stipulated fees e. click on "pay Now" Button f. choose the desired payment
method

0 students must present the original fee receipt to the Transport Department. If the fees
are paid via MIS, no receipt is required.

g) The Transport Department will issue a temporary bus pass to the student,

h) Students will receive an SMS notification on their registered mobile number with
the
date and time to collect their new bus pass from the iniversity transpo.t office.

collecting their permanent bus pass, students must bring the receipt ofthe transport
fees
paid and the temporary bus pass.

i) Please note that it is mandatory for students to collect their bus pass fiom
the Transport
Department on the date specified on the original fee receipt.

i) students are advised to print a copy ofthe originar fee receipt and keep
it at home.
