Giving a comfortable conveyance experience to our School Students is one of our prime focuses.
This is only possible if parents team up with School Management, and as a team, we can achieve
providing safety and enjoyable transport to your ward.
Please take a few minutes to review all the points listed below before signing the transport form.
1. Bus Stops and Routes: Bus routes are planned to ensure the maximum efficiency of the school
vehicles and stops are designated to ensure maximum safety of students. By law, the school is
required to: Limit the number of bus stops. Thereby we designate point pickup and point drop
standards considering safety “depots” avoiding road curves at which children can gather for
“pick-up” or “drop-off.”
2. Bus Time: Ensuring safe and timely transport of children to school is essential. To facilitate this
undertaking, students must be at their stops on time. Bus driver cannot wait on tardy students.
Waiting on late pupils delays bus routes, interrupts bus transfers and makes other students late for
school. “Please make sure your child is at his/her stop ahead of time!”
3. GPS: All our buses are GPS enabled, so that you can easily track your child's location throughout
the journey.
a. For GPS facility, Parents should provide a valid local number of any one parent
(Mother/Father) or guardian. (Only Live Tracking**)
b. In case of change in number, the same should be informed through mail or letter or form to
Transport Desk. The same will be activated with GPS in 5 working days.
c. Also note, the GPS application is only compatible with Android & iOS.
4. Extracurricular Trips: Bus Rules apply to every trip under school sponsorship. Routes will be
decided by the School Management to ensure the maximum efficiency of the school vehicles.
5. Transport Fees: Whether the child opts for school transport for more than a week at a stretch
then the entire term fee for transportation will be applicable, as per the slab.
6. Designated Bus Routes: Students will ride only in their assigned bus. Any change of route from
the school end will be intimated beforehand. Students will be “picked up” and “dropped off” at
their assigned bus stop. Special riding privileges in cases of emergency may be granted upon written
request from the parent to the Transport In-charge. Intimation about the same should be given at
least 5 hours before the drop time.
7. Change/Modification of Bus Stop: Parents wishing to change or modify their child’s bus stop in
case of address change have to collect the “Transport Address Change Form” from the front office
and submit it along with a written request addressed to the Principal.
a. Approval will be granted only upon the determination of space availability and that the
modification will not displace another student.
b. At least 3 working days is required for analysis and approval of the Address Change, thus
parents’ cooperation is requested for the same. Other than that, there will be no change in
pick-up and drop point in between the terms.
8. Bus Routes: In case the school transport does not cover the area or if the school transport stops
to ply to that area, the parents shall make their own arrangements to pick up/drop of their child at
the nearest stop as advised by the Transport Desk.
9. Seating Capacity: Per the Court Guidelines, the school transport system abides to 1.5 seating
ratio for children lesser or equal to 12 years of age. Beyond that age criteria, 1:1 seat ratio is
adhered.
My child and I understand that riding the school bus is a facility provided by the school and the
transport system abides with the above mentioned points for efficient management. We have read
the transport handbook and realize the need for responsible bus behavior in order to assure the
safety of all students.
