The following documents are required for processing the proposal for engagement of a
Consultant or an Expert in RITES:
1 Proposal in prescribed proforma (Annexure - I/Il as applicable) duly recommended

by the SBU Head with financial concurrence of associate finance
2 Print out of the Registration done by the applicant on RITES web site for engagement
of consultant I expert. In case of a difficult in registering for engagement as
Consultant I Expert on RITES website, contact can be made with Sh. Mukesh
Bhardwaj, Manager on o124-2818327 or Sh. Pramod Kumar, Sr.DGM/IT on 0124-
2818386.
3 Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the applicant
4 A copy of each of the following documents
*Pension Payment Order
*Service Certificate,
Last Pay-slip, indicating last grade and basic pay drawn.

5 *PF No with the last employer.
6 Self declaration performa enclosed at Annexure Ill / IV as the case may be.
7 D&AR I Vigilance Clearance along with details of punishments imposed upon him
during his service in cases arising out of the vigilance cases
(it may be noted that in case the proposed consultant I expert belongs to a technical
category the details of punishments is required for the last five years from his
previous department).
8 Estimate (budget provision) copy
9 Designation - last post held.
The proposal for engagement of expert I consultant accompanied with the above mentioned
documents be sent to this office sufficiently in advance by given at least one month for
processing the case for sanction of the competent authority.
