1. An old friend you want to meet again
The old friend I want to see again is Nhi. Now she has moved away and we can
hardly see each other again. We knew each other when we were in high school. At
that time we were very close. We went to each other's houses, made many delicious
dishes together and told all kinds of stories in life. We are also good at different
subjects, so we support each other a lot in studying and taking exams. However,
after taking the university entrance exam, she chose a school in Da Nang city to
study and settle here. Currently we are both very busy so we rarely contact each

2. Studying English (how long have you been learning English, which skill you

In Vietnam, everyone has to learn English at school and I am no exception. I
started learning English in elementary school in 3rd grade. I feel that learning
English has many benefits that few things can bring. Learning English helps us
stimulate our brain's thinking, be more confident in communication, dare to go out
and explore the world without too many obstacles, helping people expand their
horizons, opportunities for learning and many other benefits that cannot be
mentioned. I think the most effective way to learn a language is to practice more
with native speakers. This way, I can improve both my listening and speaking
skills at the same time. In addition, I also read bilingual books and watch English
movies to learn new words and pronunciation. However, I learned English mainly
through formal education, starting from elementary school and continuing to
higher education. I supplement foreign language learning by reading books,
watching movies and practicing all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and
writing.
UNIT 12:
1. An interesting experience you have ever had
A few months ago, for the first time in my life, I went to see a 3D movie in the
theater. My friends and I went to see the movie Avatar at Thanh Xuan Beta theater
around the end of 2022. I really like watching 3D movies on the big screen. I was
fascinated when wearing 3D glasses. It was as if I was in the movie and witnessed
the whole thing with my own eyes. As soon as I put on the glasses designed to
watch 3D movies, I felt like I was transported to another world. I felt as if I was
removed from reality and transported to the world of the characters. It was an
absolutely amazing experience I've ever had.
3. Your plans after leaving university
After graduation, many people have different plans for their future. My plan is
become a good businessman. I always want to do business, sell goods or open a
store to sell a certain product. I like business because around me there are many
successful people through business, they all built businesses from the ground
up, making me admire and respect them. That is the driving force that motivates

me to seize every business opportunity. Now, in addition to studying, I also

study more documents, read books, and listen to podcasts of business speakers
to understand more about different ways of selling. I like the time I sit with my
friends and talk about customer needs, the market or how to handle problems
that arise. This is the job I have always dreamed of. I will strive to become a
good businessman in the future.
After graduation, many people have different plans for their future. Some people
may pursue a career in their field of study, some may move on to work in another
field, or some may take a year or several to properly think about their next choice.

to study higher, my plan after graduating is to work in the accounting major to gain
experience, then I can work as an auditor or tax officer. If I find the job too tiring,

is enough to support myself and pay off all my family's debts.
