    With reference to above it is to inform that the Public Health and Municipal
    Engineering Department is following the procedure laid down in GO.Ms. NoJS, TR&B (RI)
    Department Dt:28-02-2006, GO.Ms.No.252, TR&B (RI) Department Dt:28-08-2008 and
    GO.Ms.No.01, Finance (Works & Projects-F7) Department Dt:25-02-2012 (allowing
    r only differential amount for positive price adjustment) for calculating the Price
    (i\ / adjustment of POL on the works taken up in Public Health department.

    \j The procedure for calculating the Price adjustment of POL is as follows:


    The percentage of POL component is 15% of value of work mentioned in GO.Ms.35,
    TR&B (RI) Department Dt:28-02-2006 and the Co-efficient of POL "1" i.e absolute
    variation of the rate fixed by the Public Sector Undcrtakings(PSUs) amend ed in
    GO.Ms.No.252, TR&B (RI) Department Dt:28-08-2008 instead of'' 0.85". The Public
    Health and Municipal Engineering Department for Water Supply Schemes not onl y
    consists of pipelines but also WTP's, ELSR's and other civil items in considerable
    amount and proportion. In case of pure pipeline works, your department is req ues ted
    to adopt appropriate % of fuel factor and Co-efficient of POL as per prncedurL' and <1s
    per relat~d G.O.s.
