About BNWAS Operational Sequence of BNWAS
The Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) (Td = 3 12 Min)
main purpose is to monitor the presence of watch officers
and their alertness for early detection of unsafe sailing 3rd Audible Crew Area
Alarm
conditions.
The user can define an interval sequence of between 3 2nd Audible Officer
and 12 minutes. This will only give a visual indication. The Alarm Area

alarm can be reset at any point in time. There is a visual

indicator of the time countdown. After the preset interval, 1st Audible Bridge
Alarm
an alarm sequence will go into effect.
When the officer fails to acknowledge within pre-set Visual Bridge
intervals, visual and audible alarms will be generated in Indication

Two display versions available

The JRC BNWAS is available in 2 versions (JCX-151/JCX-152) on its display, LED or LCD. The LED display showing at a
glance alarm stages allowing easy operation. The LCD display with touch screen for high performance operation.
Indication of time (with GPS), alarm history and registration of optional alarm's name is available with LCD display.

Options and interconnections
The JRC BNWAS has a range of standard (Main Control Unit, Reset Button Unit, Buzzer Unit) and optional units (Reset
Button Unit (Waterproof ), LED Warning Lamp Unit, Motion Sensor Unit, Emergency Call Button Unit and etc.) to fit
any type and size vessels. Also JRC BNWAS have many I/O ports for interconnection with bridge navigational
equipments. (Auto Pilot, Radar, ECDIS and etc.)
