Topic 7: Favourite Journey

I had a wonderful journey in Ho Chi Minh City last summer. It was a
three-day, two-night trip with my family. It is so far from my place that we took
a train. The weather was warm in the morning and hot in the afternoon. On the
first day, all of us were tired, so we took a break in a hotel in the city center. On
the next day, we went around the city to try some local food. We explored the
Ben Thanh market to buy some souvenirs for my friends. On the last day, my
family came to the Bitexco Financial Tower, which was breathtaking. I really
enjoyed every moment, and I'll come back there in the future.
Topic 9: Entertainment
My favorite form of entertainment is playing sports, and I like badminton,

which is a widely recognized sport. First, it contributes to my overall well-being.
After my study sessions, a game of badminton leaves me feeling invigorated.
Moreover, I felt great joy as I watched the ball gracefully fly through the air,
responding to my precise movements. I often play badminton with my friends,
and it helped improve our relationship when I joined a new school. I greatly
admire Nguyen Tien Minh, a true badminton legend in Vietnam. In my view,
each of us should have at least one form of entertainment as a way to relax and
release the stress of everyday life.
Topic 12: Environment

One of the most serious environmental problems is plastic pollution. Its
impact is enormous on the environment. It can kill seabirds, fish, and every
animal in the ocean. The reason for plastic pollution is probably a lack of
people’s awareness and proper waste management. The best way to protect the
environment is to combine reduction with reuse and recycling. We can use
reusable water bottles and recycle as much as we can by joining the recycling
activities. Moreover, we can also walk or use public transport to save energy.
More importantly, educate people about the importance of environmental
protection. Every small step counts.
Topic 1.Write a 100-120 word paragraph about how to keep fit and stay
healthy.
There are some ways to keep fit as followings. First of all, we should have
a reasonable diet. For example, we should eat more nutritious foods, avoid
smoking, drinking beer and alcoholic drinks. Moreover, limit eating foods that
contain too much fat, as it greatly affects our health. In addition, we can exercise
every morning such as walking, jogging, cycling and so on. This helps us have a
balanced body and a good spirit every day. Finally, something equally important
is sleep. Always get enough sleep to have the best health and spirit. We should
not stay up too late because it is very harmful to our health. Finally, these tips
will help you improve yourself.
Topic 2.Write a 100-120 word paragraph about your favourite sport.

There are countless sports in the world. But the sport I love the most is
swimming. Because I am the child of a fisherman family and my house is close
to the sea. I feel extremely comfortable when immersing myself in cool water.
Swimming helps me have good health and it is also a skill when in danger.
Swimming gives me a fit body and I love it, everyone around me admires this.
So I love swimming and it will be the first sport I choose every time I practice
sports.
Topic 3: Write a 100-120 word paragraph about transportation in your

hometown.
I was born and raised in Nha Trang. The transportation in my hometown
is very busy. The main vehicle here is motorbike, people use motorbikes to go
to school, work, or go out,.. Besides motorbikes, there are many other types of
vehicles such as taxis, buses, cars, trucks,…moving on the road together. During
rush hour, there are always traffic jams because there are too many vehicles
traveling. There are traffic police people to control traffic and people follow
traffic laws. Although the road is busy, the vehicles are conscious so it is quite
safe. Busy vehicles fill the city so my place becomes lively and i like this.
Topic 4.Write a short story (100- 120 words) which must begin with this
sentence: “I was on the beach when my mobile phone rang.”
I was on the sea beach when my mobile phone rang. My mother called me
to quickly get in the car and return home for my trip to Da Nang. My family had
a trip to Da Nang last summer and on the afternoon of the 2nd day of the trip I
went to My Khue beach which is a beautiful beach. On the beach, many people
walked and swam together, so my sister and I excitedly joined the crowd. My
sister and I had a really fun time playing in the sand before my mother called
home and it was an extremely wonderful trip for us.
Topic 5.Write a short story (100- 120 words) which must begin with this
sentence: “As the concert finished, I heard someone call my name.”,
As the concert finished, I heard someone call my name. It was around
9.pm, the concert had just ended and I was about to leave. Suddenly I heard my
friend, Thanh, calling my name. I turned around and saw him. Thanh lost his
phone and he was extremely panicked, so I helped him find his phone. We
asked a lot of people around but no one saw it. That was why we had to leave in
his sadness as that phone was his mother’s birthday present. We left for a few
minutes then we heard the ringtone of his phone around. We had hoped to get it
back, Thank god! Everything was all right.
