CALL TO WORSHIP:

COMMENTATOR: As we leave the Portals of our Alma Matter Isulan Central School SPED
Center, , we should always remember the presence of our dearly beloved Blessed Virgin
Mary, Our Mother and Our Model. May she always be here with us to guide us in making our
decisions and in everything we do.

Please all stand as we welcome our Faculty and Staff, our Candidates for Honors,
Completion & Graduation (Elementary Class, High School, Senior High School) with their
Parents for their Entrance

Candidates, Parents, Faculty and Staff Friends Good Morning. Welcome to our
Eucharistic Celebration!

In this Eucharist, we remember the experiences that made us who we are today and as
we discovered in ourselves the many ways in which God has shown His love for us. As we
celebrate our faith and our life with joy, with humility and with family spirit, we become
aware of the love and compassion of God. With God’s help we do promise as we continue
with our journey in the future to nurture all the best in ourselves with faith, confidence and
love of God.
PROCESSION OF THE SYMBOLIC OFFERING:

INCENSE: The INCENSE signifies the presence of God in our midst. It also signifies the
presence of God in our journey as students , the time that we enjoyed each
other’s company, the times we felt so alone, the time we shared our happiness,
heartaches, sadness, and revealing moments, God was present in everyone of
them.

FLOWERS: The FLOWERS signify the CREATION of God, Our Almighty Father. We are the
most beautiful creation of God because we are created in His image and likeness.
Flowers adorn our world to make it beautiful. May we also adorn the world with
our lives as we grow following the virtues of Mama Mary and bring with us the
__________ as long as we live. May we become one like her and witness all her
miracles done. We pray to you O Lord that like flowers may we also grow and
become good Christian and be witnesses to the Gospel Values.
2
CANDLE: The CANDLES represent light that shine upon us, like Jesus as the light of the
world. We pray to You O God that may Your Holy Spirit open our minds and
hearts to understand your teaching and help us to become one in faith and
praise. Wherever we will be as we go on with our journey, today and tomorrow,
may we not be lost from the love, mercy and of YOUR LIGHT.

CROSS: The CROSS represents our deep Faith to God which sustains, guides and comforts
us throughout our lives. May we become more like Jesus as He offered His life to
save mankind. Thank you for saving us, for all the trials that come our way which
made us strong and our lives beautiful in Your eyes Lord.

BIBLE: The BIBLE represents our yearning for the Love o f God through His Words,
knowing God as the source of everything. May His graciousness come upon us
as we thank you for all your creation. For everything that we learn, may it
encourage us to live our lives for God & others.

HOLY ROSARY: The HOLY ROSARY is the best weapon against destructions. Our Blessed
Lady, herself, came from heaven and asked us to unite ourselves with her Son
through this prayer each day. As we contemplate and understand the life,
passion and death of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we are bound by the love of God in
order for us to be saved. May we ever be bound in God’s love as we go on with
our life’s journey and be united with Jesus the Son of God.

MEDALS: The MEDALS signify the accomplishments we have had. The hard work that we
have put in, the many hours that we’ve spent studying, making our homework,
projects and other things, had come to fruition. The medals are all fruits of our
labors.

CERTIFICATES: The CERTIFICATES signify that we have finally achieved what we’ve longed
for. The six/4/2 years that we have spent in __________ ,be cherished and
as we grow old, be something we look back to with tears in our eyes and
a smile on our lips.

STOLE: The STOLE signifies the end of our stay here at ___________. The feeling that
comes to us is ambivalent. There is a feeling of happiness at the same time
sadness, happiness because we have finally achieved our dreams to finish our
school years, there is also a feeling of sadness because today is the day of
3
parting. We say goodbye to our classmates, close friends and teachers that we
have known and stayed for a number of years. We are also saying goodbye to
our Alma Mater that serves and gives us time to gain and share our skills and
talents.
In this Eucharistic Celebration, we pray that we may be one with the Blessed
Virgin Mary, Our Good Mother in living the Gospel values in our lives, in our
journey of faith and in our endeavors to make this faith alive.

Together with our Eucharistic Celebrant, REV. FR. GILBERT S. NASATAYA, DCC, SSL ,/ REV. FR.
JUDE M. ALARCON, DCC, let us now all rise and sing joyfully our song of praise:

(Entrance of the Knights of the Altar, Readers, Psalmist, candle bearer and Rev. Father)
GREETINGS:

Celebrant: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit.

All: Amen.
Celebrant: The grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
All: And with your spirit!

PENITENTIAL RITE

Celebrant: My brothers and sisters, we must not forget the challenges of our world today,
as well as the joys and sufferings of humanity. The adversity of our time includes
a world that is in crisis because of lack of bread or because of the exaggerations
of those who seek to live by bread alone. We are being called to deepen our
relationship with one another in order to grow in an authentic “creative
faithfulness and be able to respond to the signs of the times.

As we prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries, let us call to mind our sins.

All I confess to Almighty God

and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned,
in what I have done and in what I have failed to do,
4
through my fault,
through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;
therefore I ask Blessed Mary Ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord Our God.

Celebrant: May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to
everlasting life.

All: Amen.

The Kyrie: Lord, Have Mercy/ Lord, have Mercy

Christ, Have Mercy/ Christ, Have Mercy
Lord, have Mercy/ Lord Have Mercy

* GLORIA
OPENING PRAYER

Celebrant: Let us pray. God of power and mercy, in this time of grace, joy and conversion,
we pray that we be centered to Your will and plan so that we may remain united
in the spirit of joy and be strengthened in our faith. Fill us with hope and renew
our spirit of oneness as we live out our faith in new ardor and new expression as
we renew our commitment to serve You in the world. Grant this through Lord
Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

-------------LITURGY OF THE WORD------------

FIRST READING (Jer. 29:11-14 )

A READING FROM THE BOOK OF THE PROPHET JEREMIAH

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not
to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come
and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek
5
me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you
back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have
banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I
carried you into exile.”

THE WORD OF THE LORD.

All: Thanks be to God.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM ( Ps 138, 1-2.2-3.4-5 )

R. I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOUR NAME, BECAUSE OF YOUR KINDNESS AND YOUR TRUTH.

I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with all my heart, ( for you have heard the words of
my mouth;) in the presence of the angels I will sing your praise; I will worship at
your holy temple.

R. I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOUR NAME, BECAUSE OF YOUR KINDNESS AND YOUR TRUTH.

I Will give thanks to your name, because of your kindness and your truth; For you
have made great above all things your name and your promise.
when I called, you answered me; your built up strength within me.

R. I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOUR NAME, BECAUSE OF YOUR KINDNESS AND YOUR TRUTH.

All the kind of the earth shall give thanks to you, O Lord, when they hear the words
of our mouth; And they shall sing of the ways of the Lord:
: Great is the glory of the Lord.:

R. I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOUR NAME, BECAUSE OF YOUR KINDNESS AND YOUR TRUTH.

SECOND READING (Phil. 1:3-11 )

A Reading from the Letter of St. Paul to the Philippians

6
I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of
my prayers for all of you, because of your sharing in the gospel from the first day until now. I
am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to
completion by the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to think this way about all of you,
because you hold me in your heart, for all of you share in God’s grace with me, both in my
imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness,
how I long for all of you with the compassion of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer, that your
love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine
what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced
the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

THE WORD OF THE LORD.

All: Thanks be to God.

Leader: Beloved parents, guardians, administrators, faculty, staff and all those who have
helped us shape our lives to what we are today, with gratitude and joy, we
humbly present ourselves to you. For being with us THROUGH THE YEARS of our
11
school life, sharing our challenges and difficulties, our dreams and aspirations,
our hopes and struggles-we sincerely thank you. For being so understanding and
allowing us to grow, accepting our limitations and failures by guiding and loving
us – Maraming-maraming Salamat! Ang Aming walang Hanggang Pasasalamat!

(Giving of Tokens to the Parents or Guardians)

PARENTS’ PRAYERS

1. Most Loving Father as parents, teach us what to give and what to withhold. Show us
when to reprove and when to praise. Make us gentle and considerate yet firm and
watchful. Keep us from weak indulgence, or from great severity. Give us the courage to be
disliked sometimes by our children, when we must do necessary things which are
displeasing to their eyes. Give us the imagination to enter into their world in order to
understand and guide them. Give us all the virtues we need to lead them by word and
example in the path of righteousness. Amen.

2. Heavenly Creator of the universe, we thank You for the children that You have entrusted
to us. We want to cooperate with You fully in helping them grow into free and responsible
persons and mature in the faith received at baptism. Grant us the grace to be able to
guide them in the practice of virtue and the way of Your commandments –by the good
example of our lives, and by the loving observance of Your law and that of Your Church.
Most of all, however, guide them with Your Spirit so that they may know the vocation You
will give for them and be open to genuine self-giving and true Christian love. Amen.

3. Dear God, I thank You for the gift of child to raise, this life to share, this mind to mold, this
body to nurture, and this spirit to enrich. Let me never betray this child’s trust, dampen
the child’s hope, or discourage this child’s dreams. Help me, dear God to help this precious
child become all what You mean him to be. Let Your grace and love fall on him like gentle
breezes and give him inner strength and peace and patience for the journey ahead. Amen.

4. Lord, God may our family specially our children, be protected from all harm, misfortune
and sadness. May we enjoy the privilege of spending time together to share joy, celebrate
this happy occasion and to be here for each other when there’s need for comfort. May
good health prevail and may there be ever-present in them faith in God’s mercy and grace
as they continue their journey and bring the Name of Notre Dame as they SHINE! We
pray in Jesus’ Name.. AMEN.

12
CELEBRANT: Let us pray.
Made partakers in your Sacrament of Charity, we humbly implore your mercy,
Lord that we may be conformed to Christ on earth and merit to be coheirs of His
glory in heaven.

Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

All : Amen

CELEBRANT: The Lord be with you.

All: And with your spirit.

PRAYER OVER THE PEOPLE

CELEBRANT: Bow down your heads and pray for God’s blessings.
May Almighty God bless you in His mercy, and
make you always aware of His saving wisdom.

All: Amen.

CELEBRANT: May He strengthen your faith with proofs of His love, so that you will
persevere in good works.

All: Amen.
CELEBRANT: May the blessing of Almighty God, the Father, and the Son,(†) and the
Holy Spirit, come down on you and remain with you for ever.

All: Amen.

CELEBRANT: Go therefore, proclaim the Good News that springs forth the power of the
cross and be a life-force of God’s love and peace and continue to gush
