Greetings
• Worship Leader: “Your life is a sacred journey. And
it is about change, growth, discovery, movement,
transformation, continuously expanding your vision of
what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see
clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking
courageous challenges at every step along the way. You
are on the path … exactly where you meant to be right
now … And from here, you can only go forward, shaping
your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of
healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of
dignity and of love.”

LITURGY OF THE
WORD
1st Reading –
Jeremiah 31:3-4; 29:11-14
The Lord God has this to say to you today: I have loved
you with an everlasting love and I am constant in my
affection for you. I will build you up and I will protect you in
good times and in bad. So be happy and go forth in the
dancing of the merrymakers. I have plans in my heart for
you: plans for peace, not disaster, plans to give you a
future and a reason to hope. And remember, when you call
upon me and come and pray to me I will hear you. You will
seek me and find me: when you seek me with all your
heart, I will be found by you.
This is the Word of the Lord
All: Thanks be to God.
2nd Reading –
Romans 12:9-18
Do not let your love be a pretense but sincerely prefer good to evil.
Love each other as much as brothers and sisters should and have a
profound respect for each other. Work for the Lord with untiring effort
and with great earnestness of spirit. If you have hope, this will make
you cheerful. Do not give up if trials come and keep on praying. If any
of the saints are in need you must share with them and you should
make hospitality your special care. Bless those who persecute you:
never curse them, bless them. Rejoice with those who rejoice and be
sad with those in sorrow. Treat everyone with equal kindness; never be
condescending but make real friends with the poor. Do no allow
yourself to become self-satisfied. Never repay evil with evil but let
everyone see that you are interested only in the highest ideals. Do all
you can to live at peace with everyone.
This is the word of the Lord
All: Thanks be to God.
GOSPEL
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John As the Father has
loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my
commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my
Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told ylete. My
command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love
has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are
my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead I have
called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have
made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and
appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father
will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love
each other. This is the Gospel of the Lord
All: Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

TAKING THE BREAD
AND CUP
INVITATION: The Minister
Christ our Lord invites to his table all that love him and
seek to grow into his likeness. Let us draw near with faith,
make our humble confession, and prepare to receive this
Holy Sacrament.
CONFESSION AND PARDON:
All Together: We do not presume to come to your table,
merciful Lord, trusting in your own goodness but in your
unfailing mercies. We are not worthy that you should
receive us, but give your word and we shall be healed,
through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
THE PARTAKING OF
THE ELEMENT
THE PRAYER AFTER THE SACRAMENT:

All Together: Most bountiful God, we give you thanks for

the world you have created, for the gift of life, and for giving
yourself to us in Jesus Christ, whose holy life, suffering and
death, and glorious resurrection have delivered us from
slavery to sin and death. We thank you that in the power of
your Holy Spirit, you have fed us in this sacrament, united
us with Christ, and given us a foretaste of your heavenly
banquet. We are your children and yours is the glory, now
and forevermore, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
AFFIRMATION OF THE FAITH
• I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven
and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead
and buried, the third day He rose from the dead. He
ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to
judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the
life everlasting. Amen.
