    SERIES OF 2024

    “A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN


    ANNUAL BUDGET IN THEAMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THIRTEEN
    THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE AND 44/100 (₱ 313,175.44) FOR
    CALENDAR YEAR 2024 WITH THE PROGRAMS/PROJECTS/ACTIVITIES (PPAs)
    FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT PURPOSES OF BARANGAY
    DOBDOB TO BE FUNDED UNDER THE 10% SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN SHARE
    FOR CY 2024”

    WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 329 of RA No. 7160 and Section 20 of RA No.
    10742, as amended by RA No. 11768 “the barangays shall set aside ten percent (10%) from the
    general fund of the barangay for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK). The Sangguniang Barangays
    shall appropriate the SK funds in lump sums which shall be disbursed for youth development and
    empowerment purposes;

    WHEREAS, in the appropriation, release, planning, and budgeting process for the SK
    funds, the Barangays and the SKs are enjoined to observe the policies and procedures prescribed
    under DBM-DILG-National Youth Commission JMC No. 1, s. 2019 dated January 23, 2019 and
    other guidelines that may be issued for the implementation of RA No. 11768;

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Dobdob, Valencia, Negros Oriental


    has an allocation of Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand One Hundred Seventy Five and
    44/100 (P 313,175.44). This is equivalent to the 10% SK share for CY 2024 and will be
    appropriated for various programs, projects and activities solely for youth development and
    empowerment purposes particularly for equitable access to quality education, environmental
    protection, disaster risks reduction and resiliency, youth employment and livelihood, health and
    anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development, governance and capability building;

    WHEREAS, in our regular Sangguniang Kabataan session on January 27, 2024, the Sk
    council has identified these programs, projects and activities for CY 2024 which was in
    accordance with the principles of youth development and empowerment purposes has come up
    with the approved Sk Annual Budget for CY 2024 of the Barangay Dobdob, Valencia, Negros
    Oriental.

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council upon deliberation has prioritized and
    approved the programs/projects/activities (PPAs) for youth development and empowerment
    summarized as follows;

    ` Annual Appropriation for Sk - 10% Share ₱ 313,175.44

    I. 1.1 PERSONAL SERVICES EXPENSES


    Honorarium ( 25% of the Annual Share) ₱ 78,293.86
    Sub-Total ₱ 78,293.86
    II. MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE)
    2.1 Social Media Symposium (Netiquette) ₱ 3,500.00
    2.2 Tree Planting ₱ 3,500.00
    2.3 Seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction & Resiliency ₱ 3,500.00
    2.4 Training on Food Processing With Hands-on-Activity ₱ 3,500.00
    2.5 Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Seminar ₱ 3,500.00
    2.6 Relationship Seminar/Symposium ₱ 7,000.00
    2.7 Cultural Activities to Promote Our Culture and Arts ₱ 8,000.00
    2.8 Linggo ng Kabataan ₱ 6,000.00
    2.9 Palarong Pambarangay/ Inter Puurok ₱ 127,000.00

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Pedro K. Torres, duly seconded by


    SK Kagawad Gilbert T. Bantoto, it was;

    RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED to approve the amount of Three Hundred


    Thirteen Thousand One Hundred Seventy Five and 44/100 (P 313,175.44) Only and allocate
    the same amount for the expenditures on the identified programs, projects and activities to be
    funded out of the 10% Sangguniang Kabataan Fund representing the Sangguniang Kabataan
    Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2024.

    RESOLVED further that copies of the Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Budget for
    Calendar Year 2024 be submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan through the Municipal Budget
    Officer, through this Municipality.

    ADOPTED, this 27th Day of January 2024 at Barangay Dobdob, Valencia, Negros
    Oriental.
