ABSTRACT

The Conceptual CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) Design and Simulation Virtual

Internship provides an immersive experience for engineering students to explore and
apply advanced computational tools for product design and performance analysis.
This internship bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial
practices, leveraging cutting-edge CAE software and methodologies. Participants will
gain hands-on experience in developing conceptual models, performing simulations
(such as structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses), and optimizing designs
using modern computational techniques.

A strong emphasis will be placed on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and

machine learning (ML) into simulation workflows to enhance predictive accuracy and
automate decision-making processes. Participants will also engage in real-world case
studies, learn to interpret simulation results effectively, and understand their role in
iterative product development cycles.

The program, hosted in collaboration with AICTE, aims to empower students with
future-ready skills, fostering innovation and sustainability in engineering design and
analysis. By the end of the internship, participants will have a comprehensive
understanding of CAE fundamentals and advanced applications, enabling them to
contribute effectively to industry and academia.
