1- Purpose: :
This proposed method of statement is prepared to carry out the Cement plastering works
2- Scope of Works:
To define the execution plan for provisions of Cement plastering works for external plaster to
give consistent and uniform colour to surface finishes which are not to be painted,
(ENTRADA PROJECT TYPE A. A1.A2 AND C.C1 and AC ) where required
commencement of work for this item shall take place as needed during progress of work on
site and as per last version of approved time schedule.

5.2Products:
Gray Portland cement to ASTM C150 type 1
Sand to ASTM C 897 graded 3 mm free of chlorides and sulphides

Plaster Accessories:
Spatter dash to be cured by spraying water not curing compound for three days to be

continuously wet.
Bonding agent to be used with spatter dash for smooth surfaces as approved material.
start applying dots to produce plaster surface level and true, Dots shall be plumb
of 50x100mm dimension and thickness not less 15mm made of cement mortar
Damp the complete area of spatter dash by spraying water then apply one coat instead
with thickness 15mm to 30mm with mixing ratios (250kg ordinary Portland
cement to 1m3 sand) for external plaster.
Dotes from cement shall be removed and filled with plaster mix.
All faces shall be true and flat and angle shall be straight, level and plumb.
Grove will 1 cm * 1 cm be made in the connection with mortar angle and end of plaster of
parapet to put end of membrane in it
In case of the plaster thickness increase than 3cm, determine this area as square
shape then apply a rough coat plaster about 2cm as previous steps, should be

scratched in two directions to make a good bonding surface.
After that fix galvanized wire mesh to cover this area over the rough coat plastering
and apply final coat up to required thickness and to be troweled as previous.
Prior to start painting operations, patching and repairing shall be carried to the limits
as determined and where necessary for the following areas.
1- Damaged portions of plaster shall be repaired.
2- Where plaster surfaces are marred, discolored, stained or otherwise damaged.
The finish coat shall be removed and be replaced with new acceptable work.
Patching, repairing and joining work shall be neatly done. Repair Procedures
Cut out broken or damaged portions of plaster and repair with new work.
Cut out cracks not less than 2.5 mm wide and plaster full and smooth.
Utilize bonding agent between old and new plaster with a suitable curing method
to avoid cracks (Material to be submitted for approval).
Internal walls and ceiling plaster work will be cured by spraying water twice per a day
for five days to be continuously wet once per day.

5.4.6 Cleaning:
Upon completion of plastering works, sweep & clean floors throughout, including ledges
or other surfaces carrying plaster droppings.
