3.2.8 Analog Output Selection

When the controller’s each analog output load is greater than 500 ohms, voltage mode should be
enabled and corresponding mode output range should be configured.

In this Advanced Configuration Menu, select the configuration item 18 to set as 0 (voltage mode),
and the configuration item 19, 21, and 23 to set the analog output range. The corresponding configuration
parameters are as follow:
00::0 ~ 10V (0%-0V, 100%-10V)
01::2 ~ 10V (0%-2V, 100%-10V)
02::10 ~ 0V (0%-10V, 100%-0V)
03::10 ~ 2V (0%-10V, 100%-2V)
When the controller’s each analog output load is less than 500 ohms, current mode should be
enabled and corresponding mode output range should be configured.

In the Advanced Configuration Menu, select the configuration item 18 to set as 1 (current mode),
and the configuration item 20, 22, and 24 to be set the analog output range. The corresponding
configuration parameters are as follow:

01::20 ~ 4mA (0%-20mA, 100%-4mA)

Note: The controller only supports that all the AOs are same voltage mode or same current mode.

20
3.2.9 Digital Output Selection
All of the Digital output types can be configured as positive or negative logic output through 25,
26, 27 and 28 configuration items.

Open Logic Close Logic

:negative logic Output
00: Open 24VAC, 500mA Max
:positive logic Output
01: 24VAC, 500mA Max Open

3.2.10 Normal Low-temperature Protection

The controller can set the minimun openning of heating valve (the minimum output PI) in the
winter mode to provide low-temperature protection for heating valve with PI responding. When the
calculated PI value is below the minimum set point of PI, it will maintain the minimum set point of PI.
Select the configuration item 35, and press up / down key to set the minimum opening of the
heating valve.
The configuration item 35 defaults to be 20%, namely, the minimum output of the heating valve in
winter is 20%.

3.2.11 Dehumidification and cooling priorities

This function is available in UB2221CH/EN and UB4334SCH/EN.
As for the temperature, humidity double-loop control, dehumidification and cooling PI output can
be selected via configuration item 50. The corresponding configuration parameters are as follow:
:Humidity PI output
00:
:Maximum of humidity PI and temperature PI
01:
:Minimum of humidity PI and temperature PI
02:
:Temperature PI output
03:
Apply to cooling valve, and when dehumidification PI output is greater than cooling PI output, the
controller will activate the re-heat function, and if the present temperature is below the set point, the
heating output will be started.

3.3 Trouble Handling

3.3.1 Sensors Abnormlity Handling
The valid range of sensor input is shown in the table below. When the actual value is over the
valid range, the controller will display an abnormal message and shut down output.

Note: When the adjustable input set point is between the maximum and minimum, it will not result in
abnormality.

3.3.2 Alarm Input Handling

21
Filter alarm: When the alarm input is configured to be filter alarms, and the corresponding DI
and COM are closed, LCD will display “Filter ” alarm.
Fan alarm: When the alarm input is configured to be fan alarms, and the corresponding DI and
COM are closed, LCD will display “Fan” alarm.
Smoke alarm: When the alarm input is configured to be smoke alarms, and the corresponding DI
and COM are closed, LCD will display “Smoke” alarm.
Smoke alarm chain (only Model UB4334CH/EN): If the fan detects smoke alarm in the running
time, the controller will turn off fans and air valves.
Low temperature alarm: When the alarm input is configured to be low temperature alarms, and the
corresponding DI and COM are closed, LCD will display “Low temperature” alarm.
Low temperature alarm interlock: If the controller detects low-temperature alarm when working in
the winter mode, the controller will adjust the output of heating valve to the maximum.

Note (only Model UBS4334CH/EN): If the fan is running when the low temperature alarm is detected, the
controller should turn off fans and damper oderly.

Control deviation alarm: For the constant temperature and humidity control, if the present value
deviates from the setting range (which can be adjusted according to the configuration item 57 and 58) for a
long time (the time can be adjusted according to the configuration item 59), the controller will display
deviation alarm. When the deviation drops back within the error range, the alarm will be automatically
removed.
According to the system default, with the present temperature and humidity, if the controller
exceeds the temperature set point by ±3 ℃ (configuration item 57) or humidity set point by ±10%
(configuration item 58) within 60 seconds (configuration item 59), then controller will display deviation
alarm. If the present temperature and humidity return to the temperature set point ±3 ℃ (configuration
item 57) and the humidity set point ± 10% (configuration item 58), then the deviation alarm will be
automatically removed.

3.3.3 Winter Mode and Summer Mode

In winter mode:
Normal low-temperature protection means that when the normal low-temperature protection (the
users can set it via configuration item 35) is not 0, the cooling valve and humidification valve output is
prohibited, and the heating valve is allowed to output; when the normal low-temperature protection is 0,
the cooling valve, humidification valves and heating valve are allowed to output.
Low-temperature alarm enables the cooling valve and humidification valve output to be prohibited,
maximizes the output of heating valve and turns off fans and damper orderly.

In summer mode:
Normal low-temperature protection is disabled, and the cooling valve, humidification valves and
heating valve are allowed to output.
Low-temperature alarm is disabled.

3.3.4 Running and Standby

As for Model UB4334SCH/EN, when the controller is running (no smoke alarm or low temperature
alarm), the dampers and fans are opened; when it is detected that the fans are running efficiently, the
controller is then automatically controlled according to the temperature and humidity. When the controller
is in standby state, the automatic control of the temperature and humidity is stopped, the fan is closed;
when it is detected that the fans are running invalidly, the air valve will be closed.
As for Model UB1121 CH/EN, UB2204 CH/EN and UB4334SCH/EN, when it is detected that the
fans are running efficiently, the controller is then automatically controlled according to the temperature
and humidity. When it is detected that the fans are running invalidly, the automatic control of the
temperature and humidity will be stopped.
