Set the radio to communicate with a repeater at 146.780– MHz, 100.0 Hz

Store the current repeater and tone settings in a memory channel

Hear “receiving memory”

Now stored in m emory channel 37

Recall a stored memory setting


0. Turn on the radio and make sure it’s unlocked 2. Press the up or dow n arrows or enter the
three-digit channel number (all three digits)
1. If the radio is in frequency mode, turn off the
radio, then press and hold M ENU while 0-3-7
turning on the radio
The stored channel is now ready for use
Set the radio to communicate at 147.480 MHz simplex
0. Turn on the radio and make sure it’s unlocked 7. Clear target memory channel 5

1. If the radio is in channel mode, turn off the M ENU - 28 - M ENU - 05 - M ENU - EXIT/AB
radio, then press and hold M ENU while
turning on the radio Hear “delete channel”

2. Select the upper display 8. Store the frequency in channel 5

EXIT/AB M ENU - 27 - M ENU - 05 - M ENU - EXIT/AB

3. Set the frequency Hear “receiving memory”

1-4-7-4-8-0 press %
4. Turn off the repeater shift direction (SFT-D) M ENU - M ENU - M ENU - EXIT/AB

5. Set the transm it pow er level press %
