MELC SERIES: MULTI-LINE STRAIGHTENING & CUTTING MACHINES

• MELC multi-line straightening & cutting machines
are designed for heavy duty continuous operation
within the reinforcing industry, using the unique
hyperbolic roller straightening and feeding system.
• Excellent straightening, no re-bar marking, compact
system layout.
• One up to six straightening rotors/lines from
Ø 6mm up to Ø 20mm (#3-#6) can be combined
on the same machine reaching production speeds
up to 500 m/min (1600 ft/min).
• Each rotor (line) works independently from the
others: Each line can operate with the same or
different re-bar diameter and cut the same or
different length.
• A hydraulic flying shear cutter cuts the straightened re-bar, while in motion, thus allowing uninterrupted operation,
minimum material stresses and ensures no marking on the re-bar surface.
• Independent collection system on each line.
• In-line Bundling machines, powered roller discharge conveyors and pocket storage systems are also available.
G-STAR SERIES: 2-D & 3-D RE-BAR BENDERS
• A complete range of two & three axis re-bar benders,

designed to meet a vast range of concrete reinforcing
applications, processing up to Ø 20mm (#6) re-bar, with
twin-rod simultaneous processing capabilities.
• The sophisticated bending system employs two separate
bending heads, one of the classical rotating plate and the
other of a thoughtful retractable twin-roller design (patent).
• All lower rollers of the straightening sub-assemblies are
powered, for a positive and precise feed force.
• Adjustable counter-torsion (anti-twist) system always
produces flat shapes regardless of re-bar quality, axial twist
and bending direction.
• Available in four diameter ranges and with: Bending table
Inclination mechanism, helical/ring forming attachment,
straight rod collection station.

BENDING SYSTEM FOR COILED RE-BAR
• Automatic Re-bar Twin-Bender, working directly from coil.

• A multi-line straightening & cutting machine –from three
up to six lines- feeds the re-bar into the bending machine.
• Straightening section employs rotor & hyperbolic roller
straightening technology.
• Unique convergence wire guide system for automatic re-
bar diameter changes in less than 5 seconds (patented).
• Automatic Re-bar and bending tool changing device.
• Unique design of bending head allows left & right hand
bends.
• CNC industrial microprocessor control with user-friendly
operation and advanced programming software.
• Re-bars up to Ø 20mm (#6) and lengths up to 12 m (40ft)
can be processed automatically.

BENDOMAT SE SERIES:
TWIN BENDING SYSTEM FOR PRE-CUT RE-BARS
• The BENDOMAT SE Series are a new line of automatic

re-bar twin-benders for the production of large forms
with left and right hand bends.
• Straight bars up to 12 m (40ft) long and with diameter
range up to Ø 40mm (#14) can be processed.
• The re-bars are loaded, bent and ejected automatically.
• The unique design of the bending heads allows them to
move up and down and perform left and right hand
bends with one or more re-bars.
• The BENDOMAT 32 and 40 SE series can be combined
with a BC 32 or 40 re-bar shear line.
“BC” SERIES: RE-BAR SHEAR LINES
• The BC series are capable of processing one or

more re-bars -of the same diameter-
simultaneously.
• The unique aligning system ensures accuracies
through all the length of the bars.
• The machine can be supplied with laterally
shifting either the measuring and cutting
machine or the re-bar feeding storage unit.
• BC series can process re-bars with diameters
ranging from Ø 8mm (#3) up to Ø 40mm (#14)
and lengths up to 14 meters (45 ft).
• The machine can be supplied with two or three
powered roller conveyor bins.
SPIRAL SE SERIES:
CONTINUOUS STIRRUP / SPIRAL BENDERS
• The “SPIRAL SE” series are CNC
straightening, bending and cutting
machines producing concrete
reinforcing stirrups in a continuous,
multi-layer (spiral) form.
• Coiled reinforcing bar or wire can be
processed and any shape can be
produced (i.e. square, rectangular,
polygon, circular etc).
• The unique advantages of the “SPIRAL” series include:
• Reduced product / material cost (30%) and labor savings
(50%) in comparison to conventional beams or columns
assembled with stirrups.
• Reduced installation time.
• Better structural protection.
• Easier handling and assembly.
• The SPIRAL SE series are available in two diameter ranges
