    RECOMMENDED OPERATIVE METHOD

    • Process at room temperature

    • Add, on deionized water (90% approx. of total amount), Phosphoric acid, QUARTAMIN 60W25
    and BETADET HR.

    • Stir till total homogeneity (15 min approx.)

    • Measure pH.

    • Add final additives (fragrance, dyes,..)

    • Use MELIOSOL CU-40 to adjust desired viscosity

    • Product can be poured away

    COMMENTS

    • Viscosity increases with time.

     
    • If the quantity of QUARTAMIN 60W25 is decreased or BETADET HR is increased, keeping

    the same percentage of MELIOSOL CU-40, the final viscosity decreases.

    COMPONENTS

    BETADET HR (cocamidopropyl betaine, ≈ 30% a.m.): amphoteric character. Foaming and detergent surfactant. It
    decreases the irritation of anionic surfactants on the skin. Additional thickening effect.

    MELIOSOL CU-40 (sodium cumenesulfonate, ≈ 40% a.m.): anionic character. Hydrotrope component. It improves the
    solubility and the cloud point of the formula.

    QUARTAMIN 60W25 (cetrimonium chloride, ≈ 25% a.m.): cationic character. Liquid surfactant with anti-static effect.
