That’s the power of the self-charging Hino Hybrid Electric. It features a parallel hybrid design
utilising an electric motor and a diesel engine, intelligently switching between the two for
maximum efficiency, and a proven Toyota Group nickel metal hydride battery. Keeping your
business powering is the Hino N04C-WR four-cylinder, common-rail injected diesel engine.
It produces a hefty 150hp (110kW) and 470 Nm of torque – delivered in combination with
the electric motor, maximum torque is available at a very low 1200rpm. Efficiency is further
increased by the six speed automated transmission directly coupled to the electric drive
motor, ensuring smoother take-offs and faster, easier gear shifts. This driveline combination
helps deliver substantial fuel savings.
