The document discusses various types of ulcers and skin conditions:
- Aphthous ulcers, also known as canker sores, are common shallow ulcers with a white or yellow base surrounded by redness.
- Basal cell carcinoma appears as a flesh-colored, verrucal, pearly, smooth growth that is non-scaling.
- Peptic ulcers are crater-like lesions on the skin or mucous membrane caused by inflammation, infection, or malignancy. Managing diet and avoiding irritants can help heal ulcers.
- Squamous cell carcinoma initially appears as an irregular red nodule but can spread and should be surgically removed if diagnosed.
