Corporate Governance

Corporate governance is a system by which business are directed, controlled and managed as
per the desire of the stakeholders. To elaborate further, it refers to the way in which a
corporation is directed, administered and controlled and to that end it is concerned with
various internal and external stakeholders involved as well as the governance process designed
to help a corporation achieve its goal

Goals and objectives of corporate governance


1.Foster creativity – transparency and build trust in the organization
2.their role, innovation and efficiency, improvement and to create an environment of self-actualization.
3.Promote ethical practices of the Board – since they are engines of growth.
4.Strengthen the Board of Directors – maintain independence of nominee Directors.
5.Promote culture innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in the organization.
6.Role of financial, non -financial, human and social capital must be recognized and create an environment for
optimum utilization.
7.The board must create balance of interest of capital providers with other stakeholders.
